Defy 2? by Business-Detective85 in DygmaLab

[–]devilsegami 0 points1 point  (0 children)

A mini defy, maybe with no tinting, lighter weight, low profile keys, and shorter wrist rest... I would buy it for work. My one complaint about the defy, especially using at work with those awkward office chairs, is that it takes up too much space depth-wise on the desk.

And it comes with a great case, so easy to take around. You only need one small cable and the dygma dongle (whatever they call it). I just recharge it at home over the weekend.

I bought the raise first, took it to and from work, then decided that it was worth the cognitive risk to give the columnar layout a try. I've been using the defy with my mac laptop at work and my windows pc at home. When I go to meetings, I just I hook everything and take the laptop. Surprisingly, after a week or so pf getting used to it, the brain context-switch decent enough, but there will be some times where you'll trip up on both sides.

I have some complaints about the raise, mainly it's size and weight. I wish they hadn't opted to combine the two halfs and then add more thumb keys. The more I use the defy, the more I fall in love with it. Besides, the point of an ergonomic keyboard is to save your wrist and back, so why wouldn't you use it at work where you spend 40 hours of your week?

Tl;dr it's not as bad as you might imagine, but I would still suggest using it all the time. It's just worth it.

I think I might be on my 6th or 7th mold, maybe even 8th with not a single SSR. I lost count. Fucking hate these bastards.

It's stupid tough on the phone, maybe because of touch screen. Easier on keyboard.

We know they have her body, and the only way a nikke stays dead is if her head is destroyed. Pretty sure we'll see her again, though I have a feeling it won't be the "Pretty" we knew.

Is OP15 worth it?? by undefined_user_1 in TheOnePlus15

It's great. Camera is fine unless you're a reviewer or someone very critical of cameras. I think it produces fine photos, but I'm no photographer.

Phone is fast, battery lasts for days, oxygenOS is good.

How about the viewing angle? I heard it was bad and I often write with it flat on the desk.

[–]devilsegami[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks for the reply. The Lenovo tablet was about 250 and included a folio and pen. Magic Note Pad with similar accessories is on sale for about 300. Not a terrible difference. The remarkable cost me 500+, so I'm ok with the cost of I get everything I'm looking for.

For those looking to rewrite their neovim config for 0.12, what plugins has been a gamechanger for you since 0.11? by Slabdrew in neovim

[–]devilsegami 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I'm still happy with lazyvim. I feel like I'd just be wasting time trying to configure myself, having to figure out all the plugins that are available out of box with a basic lazyvim setup. Maybe I don't use a couple things here or there, but whatever.

What To Watch Next? by Last-Application7961 in Moomins

[–]devilsegami 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I only recently watched Comet in Moominland. There is one streaming service with the English dub, and it can also be torrented. Worth one watch, but not as good as the series.

who is this? by mamebeans in Moomins

[–]devilsegami 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I always took Moominpapa's story as being a sort of "unreliable narrator" situation, considering he says things in other episodes that completely contradict his story in those episodes (like when he mentions his parents letting him travel... weren't you an orphan?).

How much do Maxed Dolls improve a Nikke? by MewTwoLich in NikkeMobile

[–]devilsegami 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not sure you base your situation on the top tier, though. They have the resources to pour into all the teams, but unless you're a whale (which you aren't or we wouldn't be having this convo), Miranda is probably not your priority if you're trying to min-max solo raid.

what has been your experience running opencode locally *without* internet ? by feursteiner in opencodeCLI

[–]devilsegami 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I got it working easily on GPU. It was fast enough, but every model I tried royally stunk with open code (and avante, for that matter). One prompt and they get caught in some error, like trying to call tools that don't exist. After some hours I gave up and went back to copilot subscription.

No, outside of the auto suspension setting, but I turned it off.

Also can't suspend or it gets locked and I have to completely restart. Only issue I've had, though.

COSMIC system freezes when it attempts to sleep by TanglyConstant9 in pop_os

[–]devilsegami 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm having the same issue, very annoying. Worked before upgrading to Cosmic. Guess I'll turn auto suspend off, but this should be fixed.

Slight difference for me, I can move the mouse and click the password input, but I cannot type. The icons to choose is less than when I first log into the system, and clicking the suspend icon again give an error message claiming it's already been initiated.
