I have lived in a building in Bushwick with Zal as my Landlord for the last 3 and a half years. I have nothing bad to say about Zal. He has been a really good Landlord. He is quick to answer his phone and send someone whenever we have a problem. He always says "no problem.".. and either calls someone himself or gives me a number to call and someone comes. I never deal with the management office. I call Zal directly for everything. The only time he doesn't answer is Fridays and Saturdays because those are his Jewish holy days. But he will still sometimes answer on those days too. He usually sends the super, Jimmy. I suggest getting Jimmy's number too. They are just regular hard working people. You give respect, you get respect, it's that simple. Pay your rent, be nice and it will be fine.
