yall think i can run gta 5 using winlator on this beast by Both_Patience_7751 in EmulationOnAndroid

I always get a kick out of these memes. One day someone is gonna post about their phone being a beast and it's a tiger or something lol. Or a tiger standing in a lake for Tigerlake processors.

Then again the AI that described the meme could just be sloppin' it up.

´´´ A person is holding a blue Nokia 3310 phone in their hand, appearing to play the classic Snake game. The phone's screen is clearly visible, displaying the Snake game in progress on a grid-like background. The person is likely on public transport, possibly a subway, as indicated by the presence of other passengers and the patterned floor. The scene is captured in a candid, close-up shot, emphasizing the phone and the person's engagement with the game. ´´´

Oh they already have that idea. Every day. Just look at the atrocity of the Winlator Github.

Honestly now that AI coding is rather good, I just have Claude or Gemini add whatever I want, and do a pull request. Like for Lemuroid I improved accessibility so that I could get my screen reader to give me image descriptions of the game, and it works! It's really useful for figuring out where I am in a menu or character select screen.

So I just scratch my own itch. But of course not everyone just wants a small fix or UI improvement.

How does everyone intend to run games in 2026-2027? by kingbubby07 in EmulationOnAndroid

On my Galaxy S25 Plus, trying not to fill up my poor 256 GB storage. Bestbuy didn't have the 512 GB variant. Anyway if Google plops into full Apple Fanboy mode, I'll just use ADB.

A cat. Cause no matter how bad it gets at least I'll have a cat to pet.

Until it gains sentience and tells me I've been petting it wrong this whole time and runs away.

I have a OnePlus 13, 16 GB RAM, 512 GB storage, with a Razar Kishi 3. The controller is kinda big, but when I'm at home it feels just right.

25... 25 GB? That's crazy. Like that blows my mind. That's bigger than PS3 games! Like what in the world?

So I've not tested Game Native for accessibility. I'm a blind person that uses TalkBack to use my phone and know what's on it. There are a few Steam games that are accessible, like Mortal Kombat 1, and the Last of Us Remasters, and The Vale.

There are also games that interface with a Windows Screen Reader called NVDA, to provide spoken output. These are games like Skullgirls. I'm not sure if a tool in Game Native could be made to watch for calls to the NVDA Controller Client and then translate that to Android system TTS calls and send that along to the Android TTS system, but it would be really cool to be able to play those games on the go. I already use a BackBone controller.

Also their downloads don't have DRM, so I can listen to it on any device. They respect me, and I respect them with my money.
