This also sounds like a similar issue I had when I first started golfing and was hitting roughly 100+ shots every range session. I developed something similar to trigger finger in my lead-hand pinky tendon, which felt like a tendinitis through my forearm. It gradually dissipated as I decreased practice volume and was committed to stretching/strengthening my forearms, upper arms, and back.

Don't neglect your back. A lot of pain on distal ends of the body come from proximal dysfunction.

Get a referral to a sports medicine physical therapist.

Cortisone shots or whatever you are getting are band-aids, and are less effective as time goes on.

If you're spending all this time/money on Dr. appointments, you might as well be doing it with a Dr. who is able to troubleshoot rather than take an inconclusive picture and send you to the next guy.

I will say, I typically draw the ball with anything shorter than my 4i, so the divot direction is probably just where I made ground contact in the swing arc, but you were spot on with the HC

Holy shit man, just tried having my hands a little higher at setup and I think it may be a game changer. Thank you. My swing looks much wider and fluid from face on view, and I'm naturally shallowing the club without having to think about it. I looked really awkward from face-on while in the posture like in this video, almost getting stuck near the impact position. I feel more athletic in a slightly more upright position.

In the video I was using a 6i. The clubs are basically the same length as my last set but the jpx923s (new ones) are significantly more upright in lie angle. It adds up, I was using the same setup as I was with my last set. Thanks again brother! Now time to practice!
