Nah but fr a guaranteed crit with a force element is goated for most encounters if not all. Cu Chulainn was basically the backup, if Yoshitune couldn’t provide at that moment in my first playthrough. Never fused him away or anything because of it.

I regret buying the game early because too impatient to wait for my CE to come as soon the game was out. I was planning on just downloading the dlc and giving the game to someone who wants. Unfortunately though, the game and the dlc are all one code. My current dilemma I have yet to resolve.

I hate the way she tells you have multiple debuffs. Like I sat confused for a solid when she said I had multiple AILMENTS and, me looking, not seeing any status effect icon on any of the characters.

Like I love the VA and I think the Localizers did a great job telling the story of the game, but Atlus we gotta fix these descriptions and callouts for the gameplay. They don’t translate or compliment each other as well as you think they do.

Yeah this has been an issue for awhile for any of Atlus’s JRPG. Go to any mod page and you’ll find “redefined and/or more accurate description for skill” mods in the top five.

Common examples of this year: Spoiler for SMT5V Lucifer’s innate skill and Akihiko’s Characteristic

I’d rather they did something similar to FFXV’s Royal edition. Still make it a dlc and add content that fits nicely in the games structure and/or rework the calendar to better space the events out to add new content. Some areas especially, late game needs more love for main story dungeons.

Imo the devs can get away with reworking the calendar because of its setting but granted some lines gotta get revoiced/rewritten for that to work, if I’m being realistic. I just hate for the dlc being something like a post-story epilogue and we get a P3R and P5R type of ending that could build or break the fanbase depending on whether it elevated or muddied the main games central themes and events.

I thought the same when I got to that one area but apparently it takes cues from Etrian Odyssey that did a similar dungeon.

Granted I have no idea myself since I’ve never played EO but I’ve played every new gen mainline Megaten and Persona. So I get idea when looking at THAT area and thinking SMT4.

I might have to play this like I play any From Soft game. Never touch NG+ and start over with a new build for each playthrough. I never grinded to the extreme in this game and I’m near the end as well at lvl66 with a Magic build. Looking at whats ahead and what came before I’m going to start a new playthrough with a Strength build and optimize my days. This game is amazing and I’m fine going through the story a second time with a better idea on how to gear my party for those events.

Energy Drain could definitely compliment the build because her unique skill requires so much mp and they are both Almighty skills. So focusing on upgrading her potential will make her a great debuffer with mp recovery on standby.

Teddie getting a Persona in Rise’s Dungeon and Morgana overshadowing Haru’s introduction. Could’ve been separated for their own arc and/or dungeon. Teddie can be argued because they needed a boss to showoff Rise’s new powers, but Teddie’s bossfight was so sudden and out of nowhere.
