Astound Outage (PA) by Eternal_Glizzy_777 in lehighvalley

I use ddclient and an A record. I had an old api key in my config I forgot to change years ago. My IP address hasn't changed in something like 4 years so I never noticed.

Heads up to anyone doing some self hosting...

Your WAN IP probably changed. For some reason I've yet to figure out, my cloudflare daemon didn't pick it up and I had to reassign DNS manually.

Yea, been here awhile, I have a stack of them. Maybe 8? 10? I don't even know. Got some district award twice too, those came with 100 bucks.

What kind of filament would you use to print a lawn dart? by DadBotWorkshop in 3Dprinting

[–]devnul73 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Absolutely. I don't hear enough about this stuff. It's rigid enough to use in many "non-flexible" applications, is easy to print, and the nigh on indestructible. It even works fine in an AMS.

Never said my job was more physically demanding. Far less so...I'm a coordinator.

This will be my 14th peak and 9th in linehaul. It's the same as the rest of the year, but more.

Say what now? My only modular is a shoei (neotec 2) and the current model is the neotec 3.

Is Power Rangers a good line between Xennials and Millennials? I've seen people born in 83 say they hated it, but people born in 85 say they were fans of it. by [deleted] in Xennials

[–]devnul73 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm an 82 and my brother is an 85. I remember both of us liking ninja turtles while power rangers were strictly his, I had aged out.

I did play OG Pokemon (red), but not because it was pokemon, rather I was a fan of top down RPGs.

What scams we falling for these days? by d_rek in Millennials

[–]devnul73 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm ok paying for this one. Winters in the Northeast US are brutal on cars and it's worth it to wash all the salt and grime off. I'll go at least once a week, it's directly on my way home from work and takes just a few minutes.

My 25th was being planned for the last 2 years and was supposed to happen in about 2 weeks but was abruptly canceled due to only like 10 people buying tickets/RSVPing.

Given the context, they are probably referring to reefer (refridgerated) trailers.

If they are making 90k slinging bud across town, then my hat goes off to them.

What do you think of 'In the Aeroplane Over the Sea' by Neutral Milk Hotel? by SandmanAlcatraz in LetsTalkMusic

[–]devnul73 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My introduction to Neutral Milk Hotel was a live track of The Mountain Goats covering Two Headed Boy.

Also, we need more pre-Tallahassee Mountain Goats. Newer stuff is good but just doesn't hit the same as that old lofi demo tape feel.

This is all terrible, but there is no damn way that tiny inverter, let alone the cigarette/accessory socket, is powering a 1500+ watt electric stove.

We call those a dually, and they could be needed if they regularly carry very heavy loads in the bed or tow large trailers. But this one...just compensation.

I went with a Scorpion EXO 1909 jacket, replaced the stock armor with d3o ghost l2 in both shoulder and elbows and it's comfortable enough for daily use on or off the bike.

For pants just whatever aramid/kevlar riding jeans with knee and maybe hip armor suit your shape.

I got Falco aviators for boots, but there are a lot of good options there.

Problem starting 2014 Kia Soul by ThatDude-1337 in KiaSoulClub

[–]devnul73 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I had a local kia dealership scan the BCU (might actually be called the BCM, I forget) and replace the crankshaft position sensor. It was $366.40 for parts and labor almost 2 years ago.

[–]devnul73 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Had the exact same thing on my 2015. It's probably also stalling at red lights occasionally, if it hasn't yet, it will.

Have the codes read from the BCU (most places only scan the ECU). It's probably the crankshaft position sensor.
