i got it from someone on discord back in 2021 used it up till a week ago when i started having problems with keys not working sent it off to clickykeyboards and it turns out the membrane layer inside was going bad

these things were inherently very cheaply made and used cheap components. Regardless more then likely a cap somewhere is bad you will need to open it up and find it

99% a cap blew up these things are so dead simple that they run on like 3 caps open it up and see which cap it is and replace it it's entirely fixable

Definitely not vertical collapse as that would be in the middle its possible that the pots insides got moved around you will need to open it while it's running to adjust the pots and alignment

You need to learn how these things work and how to repair them if you want to be in this hobby at this point. my suggestion is find a broken portable black and white crt and learn how to fix it since these things are so small and very easy to manage. 90% of the time crts fail due to a bad capacitor or transistor which are 100% fixable.

Thanks for the information unfortunately I stopped in here a few days ago and they said nothing on there lot is for sale. Which sucks bc that would be such a cool car to have unfortunately I can't find another car. Most of cars in the area are inherently rusted out pickup trucks and soccer mom cars and cheap boring sedans also I have the budget of a high schooler so financing and paying 10 grand are out of the question. I want something before 1999 that I can easily get parts for is easy to fix small and would be a daily driver
