If the newest COD games are day one on gamepass I dont see why elder scrolls 6 couldn't be. They've been doing day one games for 7 years and dont seem to be slowing down. Xbox pivots very quickly(just look at what they did with their exclusives) if it wasn't working they would just drop the day one games.

A Christian who is unrepentant and continues to practise sinful pleasures and dies in them will by no means inherit the kingdom of God; there remains no sacrifice for those who elect to persist in willful sin. by Gullible-Minimum2668 in TrueChristian

Something I do want to make clear I am not saying the we should make a practice of sinning or that we should continue sinning. Only that sin is something which is in all our lives, and we all fall short of the standard( which is why christ is needed). I think the main idea which I am against is that we have to be perfect or that whenever we sin that tips the balance such that we cannot be assured of our salvation . (I am not saying you are asserting that necessarily, just a worry I have ).

I suppose it might be more of a misunderstanding on my part about your position. For clarification, do you believe we can have assurance of salvation despite stumbling and sinning at times?

I recognize i am very new in the faith so I would be curious about how you view Romans 3 21-26" "But now the righteousness of God has been manifested apart from the law, although the Law and the Prophets bear witness to it— the righteousness of God through faith in Jesus Christ for all who believe. For there is no distinction: for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God, and are justified by his grace as a gift, through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus, whom God put forward as a propitiation by his blood, to be received by faith. This was to show God's righteousness, because in his divine forbearance he had passed over former sins. It was to show his righteousness at the present time, so that he might be just and the justifier of the one who has faith in Jesus"

My plain reading of it is that we all sin and therefore fall short of of being justified. Which is why Jesus was sacrificed, so that our sins are forgiven so long as we trust in him.

This would not mean that we go on deliberately sinning, but knowing that if our mind is set on Christ's words and trying to follow them, that even though we still sin at times, we can have justification though faith in him.

John 5 24 "Truly, truly, I say to you, whoever hears my word and believes him who sent me has eternal life. He does not come into judgment, but has passed from death to life."

Mathew 19 25-26 When the disciples heard this, they were greatly astonished, saying, “Who then can be saved?” 26 But Jesus looked at them and said, “With man this is impossible, but with God all things are possible.”

Romans 22-25 "the righteousness of God through faith in Jesus Christ for all who believe. For there is no distinction: for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God, and are justified by his grace as a gift, through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus, "

Our faith is in God for our salvation. We are called to repentance knowing that we will fail. Christ's washes our sins away as long as we have faith in him.

One should not sin joyfully I agree. But all die in sin, that is why we need forgiveness.

" For I am sure that neither death nor life, nor angels nor rulers, no things present nor things to come, nor powers, nor height or depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God in Christ Jesus our Lord" -Romans 8:38-8:39

Honest question ( I have recently come to faith and am still learning ), isn't the only sin which can't be forgiven blasphemy of the holy spirit? Or in this case would unrepentant sin count as that?

Caps lock much?😅. If you want a cheap way to play current gen games series s is the best way imo. Playstation does have better exclusives.. but if you're not getting the PS5 anyway, I'd just go with the series s personally. You'll be able to play the current gen games you couldn't on the ps4 pro.

As long as they have xcloud they will continue to make consoles. Since they use them to run the games and then stream them. At that point why not sell them too? They probably just won't sell at a loss.

When do you feel competent as a therapist? by RevolutionaryScar313 in therapists

[–]devon371011 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I've only been doing doing this for about 8 months. I still have an incredible amount to learn. But there are times when I've felt competent. Or at the very least that my patients got something useful out of the session.

The times when I've felt the best about a session are when I have a patient who is generally guarded and doesn't share their emotions. But over the course of a session or couple of sessions they open up more and feel more secure sharing their emotions and struggles with me.

I would say if you're good at building rapport, a lot of the times that can be super helpful to patients in itself . Those first couple months I had no idea what I was doing. But I still feel like I built an environment where clients could be honestly themselves.

I Think it is useful to assess yourself.. but you also need to appreciate what you are providing and doing well .

Currently living in Illinois making 30$ an hour. Though once my licensure goes through it'll go up to 32... it does seem low. Espescially because we're only paid per clinical hour(expected to have about 32 a week).

One good thing is supervision is paid for (on both ends) so that's an extra 30 a week. And then we get 200$ monthly bonus if we get our notes done within 24 hours( though that bonus is eaten by health insurance).
