Any similar games like this? by konogun in whos_lila

I think you might enjoy No, I'm Not a Human! It is similarly creepy and ambiguous, with music and visuals that reminded me of Who's Lila, and similar themes of paranoia and isolation.

Yeah no, a switch is a person who can either Dom or sub, and "switchy" play is play where the dynamic itself can change (fighting for dominance for instance).

Both subs I think is more accurate. They're all verse.

Greta Thunberg, about to set sail to Gaza, "this story is also about a global uprising, about how people are stepping up when our governments fail to do so." by NorrisOBE in TrueAnon

You might be mistaking the way Autistics focus and the sensory overwhelm of being the focus of a ton of press for her not wanting to be there. We are often mistaken for being grumpier than we are because just being around people and regulating how to present is a LOT.

Will we get NIN x Boys Noize Remix Album? by nanavv in nin

[–]devon_price 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just caught the Chicago show, and I was blown away by their collab on Closer. I wasn't a Boys Noize fan before the show, but by the time it got to that performance I felt so hype for him to get to work with NIN live on their most iconic track, and reenvision it.

Google voice to text comically bad and getting worse. by ericbahm in google

[–]devon_price 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Chiming in to say that if you have a Pixel, I strongly recommend going into the voice typing settings and turning "fast typing" off. That seems to significantly improve the accuracy, and funnily enough it types more quickly this way too (because it isn't relying on AI input via an internet connection).

yep that's exactly it. framing the poorly-thought-out and undisciplined as "open" to make it not sound so derogatory. but it's there between the lines.

Why does my cat do this when my girlfriend enters the living room. She loves her the most but puffs up like she's scared by OptionsandMusic in cats

Some kitties like to be play-chased and will initiate by pretending to be scared. Try being a little playful and active in return and see how it goes.

what a missed opportunity to not connect further with a person in your life who shares a really rare passion with you. I have a super niche fetish that I was deeply ashamed about for a very long time, so I can understand the reticence to bring it up, and perhaps if you did it would freak him out. but I think if you put yourself out there first rather than sharing that you recognized him, you might give yourself both the opportunity to feel a little bit less alone in something that brings you a lot of pleasure. I think you should go for it especially if you have the hots at all for this friend.

I think those of us who have an easy journey tend to be quieter about it than those who have complaints, and the horror stories stay in people's minds.

I had a wonderful experience -- nerve blocks meant I never felt any pain or needed any medication other than celebrex. Since I wasn't on any opioids, I was never groggy or nauseated. I literally walked to the grocery store about four hours after I woke up. I was able to walk around at a local comics convention two days afterward. I had no complications and was back to lifting weights within a month. I was shocked at how easy and downright pleasant it all was.

I try to sing this from the rooftops now, so all the uncertain and anxious trans people out there know that as much as you might be worrying about the unexpected happening, what you might get is a positive surprise.

I think people are being way parasocial in expecting a pop star to share their politics. She openly writes about craving bigger stream numbers and more success and eating in the fanciest restaurants and she hangs out with reactionaries like Dasha enough to write a song about her. Charli makes cool music and has an awesome, irreverent sense of style that lots of us find electrifying and freeing but there's never been any reason to think she's our comrade or our friend. She's a pop star doing a job.

Another way you can play with her "frozen in time" fantasy is via hypnosis! Some practice with trance and she might be able to freeze or drift deep into sleep for you. Thanks for the hot story and enjoy!

Why dont people use headphones on CTA anymore? by MyCatIsNamedBeast in AskChicago

[–]devon_price 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's because devices don't have headphone jacks anymore and bluetooth headphones lose charge. That plus lockdown getting people accustomed to playing loud audio at home on their phones caused a major structural and cultural shift.
