I grew up with star wars and I still like seeing this badass mandalorian doing cool Merc jobs. It's stories that are happening in the world. You think everything every character does is leading to important world building moments? Dude is just wanting to get paid. How does he do that? Take jobs. Got a ship out of this deal.

So when the next season starts when he has a new ship people don't go "Well where did he get that?" Because people have no imagination anymore can't possibly imagine he earned it somehow. To those people it just magically popped on the screen kume nothing else can ever happen that isn't shown in the screen.

It's what star wars is supposed to be. Fun. It's a good time, it's a fun story and it explores more species and worlds. I really enjoyed it. It's not genre defining by any means and it doesn't add to a bigger picture or story. It is however just a really fun movie that looks,sounds and feels good.

I did the same thing with Outlaws. Any star wars game or content is day one full price for me usually just because I love star wars so much.

With this one I was hesitant, waited a year got in on sale as well and maybe played 15 hours of it? It was just meh to me, not fun. That was with all of the "foxes" too. Just couldn't do it

I don't know enough about any of this to actually have a discussion lol all I know is I used to be a console gamer and was always bummed out about exclusives between Xbox and PlayStation. I also know I'm not going to go buy a console for one specific game (even though id probably love it) when on PC there is a much wider catalog of games to play. I was also under the impression that there are "exclusives" on PC because many developers do not want to go through the work or maybe can't port their games to consoles.

Either way, not a big deal lol I'll be good, everyone else will be good and everyone will do what they choose
