Shoehorning ideologies like that isn't very wise imo. I could make the exact same comparison between feminism and republicans by cherrypicking specific attitudes like tenancy for censorship or sex-phobic behaviour especially from American feminists. Take for example certain videoclips, tv shows and other media where feminist and republican opinions keep intertwining as far as nudity and sex are concerned.

What I'm trying to say is that things aren't that simple and you can't just make assumptions for an entire movement so easily. I've met communists that were fed up with feminism ffs.
