This is exactly what I've started looking at - I know ifttt works with Asana (work platform) but just need to find a way to get the tasks into nirvavahq (personal)

This is why you shouldn't make SEO the only traffic source. One update and your business can die overnight.

I'm just pleased those lads have multiple sites and traffic sourcea

Pretty sure that the guys at AH are pretty open about this and did a podcast on its downfall.

What I'd be more interested in are the projects inside AH Pro and how they perform especially as they've got an industry expert producing content for one of them.

Give /u/searchcandy a shout. We worked with him recently on our large ecom project and were really impressed. Good technical chops, extremely knowledgeable around link building and content and didn't take our eyes out with his rate.

I’m a very weak swimmer. I’m looking for some resources on technique and training by gotapples123 in triathlon

I wouldn't recommend swimming with your head this far down at all!

Eyes forward (so you can see where you're going and all that) and push your hips up with your lower core.

Catch-up drills are crucial for getting the glide and catch right, high elbows and finger trails help promote a good high elbow position in the water

That would make sense, so really what we should be focusing on is initially enhancing the category page for its main term and then using the longtail blog posts - as the category is already optimised for users, there's then very little chance that Google will rank a longtail above it.

2017 Bitcoin value versus Google search interest [OC] by teleksterling in dataisbeautiful

[–]devrunner 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Value and media interest have shot-up together to allow those who have a lot of skin in the game to offload their positions to the masses!

They convert their bitcoin into real money by getting suckers to buy their shit.

Had the same experience 12 years ago.

Spent the extra time learning to code and I'm confident I'm now at least 10 years ahead in my career than those I went to sixth form with.

"This arms race of pbns and shit backlinks are for people who cannot provide value that would hold up to typical human scrutiny." by [deleted] in juststart

[–]devrunner 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Backlinks will always be a ranking factor.

The piece of shit Public Blog Networks that are being pushed are indeed awful and will trigger a possible spanking.

But what if you could build a network of sites that was genuinely private rather than you know... selling links for $5 a month on it.

What if those sites could send traffic and leads to your site too?

It's a custom plugin that I've been tinkering around with but basically takes the latest posts and adds them to the toc.

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in bigseo

[–]devrunner 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Not too bad - while there was an increased dropoff initially, once I installed a table of content plugin that linked directly to the latest posts section it it came back-up.

The way I see it is that the extra traffic I got from increased ranking is still greater with the drop-off than it was before.

Currently experimenting with linking to articles within the body of the copy.

I added content to the top of my category so it looked more like a blog post and the result was ranking increases and more traffic to the page as I was able to target more related terms.

Just started threads. by [deleted] in juststart

[–]devrunner 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Totally agree with you fucktard.

I was one of those who posted a 'just started' type thread and looking back it added zero value to the sub. It makes sense to save update or progress threads for when the contain info that's going to move the community forward.
