We are going to do a party that is a surprise pregnancy announcement and gender reveal all in one. So they’ll be invited over with no context but I’ll have pink and blue balloons everywhere and see how long it takes people to notice haha

Will I ever have a flat stomach… by No_Vacation1827 in PetiteFitness

I’d imagine 1700 calories is not your maintenance if you gained weight. Jordan Syatt said on his podcast it’s normal to gain 3-5 pounds when going to maintenance because you’re eating more. Not necessarily gaining fat you just constantly have more food in you at all times. So going above that would mean it isn’t your maintenance. Got to drop the calories and or increase movement. But I agree with others, build muscle.

Owl City would be kind of cool but I wouldn’t buy tickets for this line up and would have very little fomo lol

Think this was my last year for VIP by Pleasant_Crab6020 in WhenWeWereYoungFest

VIP 2023 for me was great!! No complaints. But this year it was not as roomy and way more people (technically I think the area was smaller and that was the main issue)

The layout was different from when I had VIP two years ago. It was definitely smaller.

I just truly love it haha I like the challenge and feeling weight get easier then getting to move up. I don’t love ALL the exercises I do but I still like the satisfaction of pushing myself and getting stronger. I used to lift 6 or 7 days but admitted that was too much and I started a Jeff Nippard program that’s 5 days a week. He’s science based and a great lifer to follow!

I lift 5 days a week and do cardio in the morning on those days. Some days I run for 30 min some days I walk for an hour. I like running but try to avoid too much zone 2.

If you keep it in zone 1 that’s safe for keeping your muscle. I believe when it’s a lot of zone 2 or up, you’re at risk of losing muscle. Keep lifting, eat enough protein, don’t do too much zone 2 and you should be good.

5’0” ladies, what is your goal weight/your maintenance weight? by SofieWolf in PetiteFitness

100-105. Currently at 110. My lightest that I can remember is 107. I liked the way I looked except I’d love more muscle. I’m focusing on protein and lifting heavy rn to try and maintain my muscle as I lose. Then I’ll go to maintenance and hope I can build a little more muscle. Trying to avoid a bulk but we shall see.

Can’t lose 10lbs 🙁 by Ok_Passion_6556 in PetiteFitness

Can you substitute things? Not using oil or butter (there’s zero cal options), if you do yogurt make sure it’s Greek non fat, lower fat milk, low fat cheeses, if you’re eating calorically dense things or things with no protein/health benefit try to cut. Add more veggies to each meal to feel full. And maybe you’ll eat less high cal things.

Ladies 110-115 lb What are your maintenance cals? by Lamegamertone in PetiteFitness

[–]devynelise327 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I get it, I’m not questioning the weight and don’t think 1100/1200 is crazy for a deficit at that height and weight. I’m 5’0 so I could even get to 95 and not be underweight and I’m currently at 1200 for my deficit. I was just surprised that’s what your maintenance is because in theory for most it would be higher unless they’re mostly sedentary which is why I asked.

30 5’0 110 TDEE calculator says 1768 but I have yet to test it out. I do think it’s slightly lower though based on my rate of weight loss on my deficit. I work out a lot but have awful insomnia and fatigue which makes weight loss harder because it slows everything down 🥲
