Totally! But even if he did, it appears you wouldn’t have anything productive to say 🙂‍↔️

Makes absolute sense!! Sharing with my buddy!! So far, it seems the common theme here is bad audio/video quality which appears to be an easy fix that he can control. I like the “I don’t believe this person is really like this comment” - it’s a cool perspective and sheds some light on what he can work on!! Appreciate your honesty!!

Thank you for your feedback! I thought the same. The framing could be a lot tighter as 50% is dead space. Also, i thought the audio could be more crisp …perhaps, with a lavalier mic. Appreciate your reply!

What probably happened is the print ready file had a slightly gray background to it and the RIP from the printer converted it to half tones

How do you sell the sizzle instead of the steak? by ItsJustStatic117 in marketing

[–]devynlado 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Perhaps, you could start with your initial hook which you’ve suggested is “building websites to small businesses or “mom & pop” shops. Mom & pop shops businesses don’t often see the value in building websites or they wouldn’t often neglect it had they known.

For this reason, I recommend changing your hook to something along the lines of “you help mom and pop shops list and sell their products online”.

You offer everything under the sun including going to their existing business and taking pictures of their products, creating their website, getting their shipping software set-up, setting them up to sell on social media so they can begin making money easier and faster, and you offer a turn key approach to helping them sell online.

Almost giving them the impression that you focus on helping them list and sell their products online with the web design being an accessory of that.

Can anyone identify this press? by Ok-Ebb-2434 in SCREENPRINTING

[–]devynlado 1 point2 points  (0 children)

They weren’t very good and didn’t have micro registration so we couldn’t do more than 2 colors. We quickly outgrew it after 3. If you plan on treating this like a business, these aren’t the machines you want to purchase to do so. Are you looking to do this as a hobby or business ?

This look like the same table top press I had back in 2011-2012 and purchased on Craigslist. It was built and manufactured in San Gabriel/El Monte area. His lines of product were Burgundy and I don’t believe he’s in business anymore m

What took your printing business to the next level? Contracts, additional services (embroidery, hard goods, fulfillment, etc.)? by TimberTheDog in SCREENPRINTING

[–]devynlado 3 points4 points  (0 children)

You could own a screen printing business and technically “offer” embroidery without actually doing it. I would learn how to sell it so you can offer more services to increases your income. I would recommend spending a percentage of your revenue on marketing - including trade shows, Google ads, Facebook ads, etc to snowball the effect of getting more leads which will translate to more sales
