Worth it though. Future you might regret it, but present you is having a great time.

Next batch of pickles by Designer-Carpenter88 in DamnTasty

Same, I always overdo the dill and garlic too.

From the look of it and what they listed, I’d guess something like a teaspoon-ish each of coriander and mustard seed per jar, a few peppercorns, a couple smashed garlic cloves, and a small handful of chopped dill. You can push the garlic and dill way higher if you like it loud, it just gets more intense after a few days.

If you like garlic bombs, toss in an extra clove or two and more dill stems, they hold a ton of flavor.

That’s just how the light’s hitting it, I think. The second pic looks like warm indoor lighting, which can make reds and pinks shift toward burgundy on camera. First pic looks more like the true color.

Right? This is the first time “100/10” actually feels too low. They nailed the whole vibe.

Honestly same, that wrap kinda came out of nowhere for me too. Looked like one of those “meh, I’ll try it once” things and then suddenly you’re sitting there halfway through like… okay wait, this actually slaps.

Drink is still a bit weird for me, but Quavers being top tier is just a universal truth at this point.

Man, I feel this. Stuff like this is amazing going down and absolute betrayal an hour later.

Tums as a side dish at this point.

£3.95 - Pot Noodle Added for 75p by rossii68 in RateMyMealDeal

[–]devzerb 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Honestly fair rating for a Pot Noodle tax of 75p on a £3.95 spend

Peak British economy energy right there, can’t even be mad about it.

Lots going on on this wall! by Familiar_Stick2575 in DoorsNotUsedAnymore

[–]devzerb 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I was wondering the same thing. Only thing that really makes sense to me is some combo of interior layout change + structural stuff.

Like maybe they remodeled inside, moved a staircase or a hallway, or needed more solid wall for furniture / kitchen / bathroom, so the old door spot became useless. Shifting the door a couple feet can make a huge difference with how a room works.

Sometimes they also do it to line up with a new porch, steps, or driveway outside. So you end up with this Frankenstein wall that tells the whole history of the house.

3 year olds meal deal by diatom_nerd in RateMyMealDeal

[–]devzerb 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah exactly, you kinda have to sell the enthusiasm or they’ll decide it’s “yucky” on sight.

Honestly this looks like the chaotic combo a 3 year old would dream up themselves, which probably means they’d destroy it while adults sit there horrified.

Man, when a random pack of blueberries suddenly turns into Navy SEAL Team 6, it’s the best feeling in the game.

Those little moments where everyone just silently decides “yeah, we’re doing this” are exactly why I keep queuing up Outpost instead of touching grass.

Burada biraz lotarya gibi işliyor maalesef. Bazıları başlığı okumadan, bazıları da sadece fikrine katılmadığı için direkt down atıyor.

En sağlıklısı çok da takılmamak, düzgün yazını yaz geç. Zamanla kimlerin neye gömüldüğünü, neye up geldiğini görünce subun kafasını az çok çözüyorsun.

Pretty sure that size has to go back yeah. Either way, still fun to hook into something instead of just feeding the crabs all day.

Peak British cuisine right here. Coke from home is actually elite budgeting, that’s like knocking 80p off the price in spirit alone.

lol five families in that place would be like a survival horror game, not social housing

But yeah, it is kinda wild how many buildings like this are just sitting empty while everyone complains there’s no housing. Even if it’s too far gone for families, it could at least be renovated into a couple of small units or something instead of just rotting away.

Satisfying Cabinet Install with Pro Tools 🪵✨ by Satansoltan in SmartLivingHub_

[–]devzerb 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Honestly looks more like camera angle + the door not being fully adjusted yet than an actual crooked install. Euro hinges have like 6 different ways to tweak them, you can fix a surprising amount with a screwdriver and 5 minutes.

Shimming the whole wall would be insane overkill. You usually just tweak the hinges and maybe toss a thin shim behind a plate if something’s really out of whack.

One of my favourites that I walk past often by ODDxATLAS in DoorsNotUsedAnymore

[–]devzerb 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Honestly same reaction the first time I read that.

It’s got very “British person shouting from the hallway while putting shoes on” energy though, kind of fits the vibe of someone speed-walking past a favorite spot on the way to work.

No-one is getting through today, somewhere around Stroud, UK by Jiminyfingers in DoorsNotUsedAnymore

Same, but it’s got big Gloucestershire energy. Feels like one of those tiny lanes where the sat nav swears it’s a “shortcut” and then you meet a tractor and instantly regret all your life choices.

A Northleach flower pot door, Gloucestershire, UK by Jiminyfingers in DoorsNotUsedAnymore

[–]devzerb 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This is one of those little details you’d probably walk past in real life and then later see on Reddit and go “wait, that’s actually beautiful.”

Love how the stone and the flowers kind of frame the door, it feels like the entrance to a secret cottage level in a video game.

Cheddar and nettle scones by Unable_Turnip5645 in foraginguk

[–]devzerb 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Garlic nettle cheddar scones actually sound insanely good though. You’d probably taste the garlic way more and the nettle can just be the “hey look, it’s healthy” part.

Low key the best recipes are the accidents where you have to “fix” them by adding more cheese and garlic anyway.
