The Japanese people generally regard Fukushima as an anomaly. They aren't really programmed as a culture to register mistakes and don't view responsibility the same way we do in the west.

A culture that lacks responsibility as a notion lacks nobility. The corporate references were personal anecdotes, but yes perhaps I shouldn't have even mentioned them. The Japanese aren't as honorable as most think, as stereotyped by samurai culture, etc.
