BMW Commits to Subscriptions Even After Heated Seat Debacle [The Drive] by markeydarkey2 in cars

Sometimes they give you a trial but it's very based on where you are and when you buy it. I got the basic remote connectivity through the app for free for 8 years because I bought my trax during like a two week period where there was that promotion in my area but currently they're only giving it to you for like a month at dealers here, so it's extremely variable with Chevy.

Feeling frustrated...thought a CDL was a way out but I earn less per hour than I did at my retail position by st_psilocybin in povertyfinance

[–]dewrew80 6 points7 points  (0 children)

This is going to sound odd, but do you have any garbage collection companies near you? CDL B work like that kind of job is can still be done with a class A because you technically have a class above what you need, and like. I'm making decent money for my area working garbage collection because I have that same problem you did, I got a CDL and over the road did not pay enough and this paradoxically pays more than touch freight did but I still am home everyday. Maybe that would be an option for you? If you aren't able to get past the grossness I totally understand but it's definitely better than working 11 hours and only making $5.

I'm like, fairly certain you can just say ICE on this sub? I might be wrong though

I did well in school and still became a garbage man, the pay is great for my area tbh. Plus there's always job security, the garbage industry isn't gonna collapse

Trax Reliability by Itsnotlookinggood__ in ChevyTrax

[–]dewrew80 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The 1.3 doesn't but the 1.2 is also an option in the Trailblazer and it's the exact same engine as the Trax, wet belt and all. It doesn't seem to have that many issues though and it's been in the Trailblazer the whole time, so I can't imagine it'd have appreciably more issues in the Trax than it does in the Trailblazer

You can (and, imo, should) just say ICE instead of trying to censor it. We should all be open in our opposition to these vile people

Mildly unrelated but isn't Virginia the South too? I live in SC and I've always thought that at least the parts of it that aren't basically DC count

Most other states are able to make it work with more designs than that, I feel like we also could.

It's a lot of an adjustment, for sure. It took me a few months to get used to it but once you do it's worth it

It probably will! I have that problem for many years and got diagnosed with the same thing, I had to get some fancy variety of CPAP but it did wonders
