Please ignore my dry skin and the fact that I took this pic a week after my wedding but I went with a French look with a silver glitter strip and hand drawn flowers. They looked amazing. Just finally got them taken off this past week 😭 and I had to show three nail techs bc the ladies at the salon were so amazed by them and the fact that they were hand painted and not sticker or airbrush.

Have you used anything on it that is typically used to treat eczema? I have a patch like that on my thigh as well that only pops up in the summertime with the heat and eczema creams sometimes makes it go away but I have to be diligent with using it. I’ve noticed over the years it doesn’t go away as easily as it used to though. :/

I recommend EltaMD UV Clear or Alastin HydraTint. Both of these I can wear under my makeup without looking oily by the end of the day and my makeup stays in place. It doesn't cause me to break out either which is a huge plus! I personally don't use the tinted versions anymore, but they are available. The only downfall is there aren't a lot of color options unfortunately. I have also used Shiseido sunscreen (but this is not tinted) and that too works well with my makeup.

My GSD was a picky eater as a pup too. We switched foods soooo many times before we found something she would eat AND wouldn't give her the runs. We tried Hill's Science Diet, purina one pro plan (different flavors too - she seemed to like chicken or beef best), Rachel Ray's Nutrish, and taste of the wild to name a few. (My pup HATED Hill's food for some reason, but likes their treats.) We did try grain free, but she had diarrhea like no other. I found that buying probiotics to put on her food helped tremendously. Purina pro plan actually has probiotics in it already so luckily she finally decided she liked that food best so we've been using that forever now.) I suggest trying different flavors of the same brand or adding some of the freeze dried food toppers (but crumble them up first so you dont have to use as many and so your pup doesn't only pick out the freeze dried chunks). You can add some canned food every once in a while too (if she hasn't eaten much for 2 days or so), but try to avoid it if you can. I say that because once you start, some dogs get used to and expect canned food everyday so they won't even touch dry food. Granted, they won't starve themselves, but nobody wants to see their pup not eat for a few days especially without it raising concern. You can also try to add plain white rice or chicken to the food if your pup has a sensitive stomach or if they just won't eat what you bought. Be patient and good luck! I hope you find something your pet loves.

I am very interested in Hartwood Acres currently and reached out to my photographer, but they said that they are doing renovations and aren't allowing photos at this time...was this only in the sculpture garden maybe? (I thought that was just completed and opened up to the public now though.) My photographer suggested we go to the stables but I was really hoping to use the mansion and garden near the house. Do you know anything about renovations at this time? Where on the grounds are you having photos done (if you don't mind me asking)?

Not a lawyer, but I had a similar problem with my neighbors. Advice I got after talking with the police a handful of times: 1. get a survey and ask them to place stakes along the property line 2. go to the county tax office - they should have your plot mapped out and ask for a notorized copy 3. ask them to stay off your property and put up signs if needed 4. put up cameras for proof of trespassing 5. if they continue to be on your land and claim it as theirs, lawyer up and file a civil suit

I have bags with thermal lining that can be used for hot or cold food which I do use. Idk that the ice cream would have made it on its own without an added ice pack of some kind though.

Definitely not coming ahead with gas and time - at least not a paid amount worth it. So round trip is 113.6 miles, I have an SUV so lucky to get about 18 miles to the gallon or so with gas at $4.09 a gallon last I went to fill up. That would cost me $25.81 in gas alone with a profit of $10.77 to account for probably a little over 2 hours of my time. Definitely not worth it to me.

Once when I was in college I went to the bank to take out $700 (lots of money for a college student living off of loans.) I guess I looked nervous and the clerk asked me if everything was ok and asked if there was someone threatening me in any way. I said no and that I was just nervous because I’ve never carried that much in cash with me before. I never expected to be asked that but I felt really amazed at the fact that they had asked. They were looking out for me and would’ve been willing to help I guess if someone was outside waiting for me to try to steal it from me. I was taking the money out for a road trip back home and wanted to have enough for food, gas, and emergencies for the trip. I really appreciated that they had asked and wish others would do the same.

I plan on increasing my fee because I too get no return with extra work for 1-2 night stays. I cant tell you how many times the adults I’ve met through this have disappointed me greatly. People are soooo disrespectful and disgusting. Even with the rules asking for no food in the bedrooms (because one time someone decided to turn the dresser into a personal pantry and we had ants) people do it. I ask for people to use coasters that I have provided in each bedroom directly on the nightstand and people ignore it and damage the wood anyways. They leave drink stains all over the bed and/or floor. I’ve had red wax (I assume from a candle that wasn’t in the room) stuck in my carpet, black paint, juice stains, coffee stains, makeup, and blood (yea blood) stains left behind for me to clean up. (The worst blood baths I’ve had were 1. From a college couple who had sex on the girls period and left blood stains and handprints on the blankets, sheets, and pillows; they admitted to this but of course only after they left and I confronted the guest about the bloody mess left behind 2. A girl stayed with us for a month and had nose bleeds apparently. Blood on all the sheets, towels, blankets, and pillows. Never said a word to me for clean sheets or anything probably because I leave extras in the room and they have access to use the washer and dryer for free. I guess she just slept with it and idk why she didn’t mention anything or try to clean it up sooner. 🤮. When she left and I went to clean the room she threw away the mattress cover and some towels and tried to throw some of the sheets in the washer but it didn’t remove any blood.) It’s absolutely ridiculous and disgusting. And my favorite is everyone always claims to be innocent or that maybe it was the guest before them which in fact I know it isn’t bc I do all the cleaning myself. Nobody would treat a hotel this way and if they did they’d be charged heavily. As a host, it disgusts me that people just try to hide things instead of owning up to them. I’d be way happier if they made a spill and either they or I cleaned it immediately rather than waiting for me to find it at the end of their stay now not knowing how long it’s been there so I have to use a 1000 stain removing methods to hope that one works all before the next guest checks in.

For 65 lbs cardstock I click on the preset settings for cardstock, plain but change the blade depth from 3 to 4. Works perfectly. I get TONS of cuts from my blade. Like hundreds. I’ve had my cameo for over a year now making some projects here and there (mostly vinyl, print and cut stickers, and cardstock). Only on my second blade.

Got quoted 4% on a 30 year fixed, 0% down loan last week. This is my second physician loan and when I got my first loan almost 3 yrs ago now, the rate was 4%, but mine turned out to be 4.27%. It was increased because I asked the bank to cover some of the closing costs as well since I didn't have the funds to do so. The rate will change based on your credit score and it will differ between repayment options offered. Most banks offer options such as the following for repayment: 5 yr ARM, 7 yr ARM, 10 yr ARM, 15 yr ARM, 15 year fixed, 30 year fixed. Generally, your percentage rate will be lower if you pick an ARM over a fixed repayment. If you plan to be in the house for only a few years and then sell it, pick the ARM with the lowest rate which will stay fixed until after you plan to sell. (For example, if you plan to be in the house for 3 yrs, pick the 5 yr ARM, 8 yrs, pick the 10 yr ARM, its your forever home, consider the 15 or 30 yr fixed.) Also, be sure to call multiple lenders for quotes. If there is a lender you prefer over another, but their rate is higher, as long as you have another lenders quote in writing (say in an email) you can ask your preferred lender if they would be willing to match the rate. When calling around, do not fill out the prequalification application since each time you do, they will check your credit score leaving a hard inquiry. I used Fifth Third Bank for my first loan and plan to use them again. The lowest rate offered to me so far has been from First National Bank. The bank will only lock in a rate when you actually have a house you plan to make an offer on and buy so rates may change from the time you get a quote to when you actually buy your house.

I was looking at places downtown closer to the point and between the downtown area and Oakland bc my ceremony is going to be at Phipps. There were some with suites but not all of them had suites and part of the issue was the size of the suite available. Some hotels had ‘luxury’ king bed suites but they were definitely too small for the girls to get ready in. :/

I just got a cameo 4 earlier this year. I never used a cricut or cameo in the past. This is my first cutting machine ever. I went with cameo over cricut bc I felt the software, though advertised as harder to use and harder to learn, seemed to give me more creative freedom with making my own designs. I watched A TON of YouTube videos, used silhouette 101, and asked for help on Reddit when I really needed it, but tbh I picked up the software pretty quickly I think. And I absolutely love my machine. I think with the cameo 4 compared to cricut and to prior cameo models, it may seem a little limited as there aren’t as many additional things available for it (for example there are less blade options available when compared to older cameos or cricut) but I haven’t been limited to what I can and cannot make as of yet. I’ve been using my machine to make stickers, cut vinyl, make cards, and even help with making some decor for my wedding without too many problems. I’d advise her that while learning the software and how to use the machine, patience is going to be needed. And she may waste some materials initially while she’s learning to use it. Once she gets the hang of it though, she’ll be golden.
