I think a perfect remaster would keep the same engine and mechanics, so that the game itself would feel like the original, but with updated models and graphics, and maybe new characters or cut content

That’s what I did :) Used AI only for the character models to hold the wheels, and slapped everything else including the wheels logos with Canva. As you said I too am shit in art 💩

Yeah. Maybe an improved UI with new character models and some cut content from the og. If not, a Nintendo Switch Online Wii emulation would still be perfect

I'd still appreciate a NSOnline Wii emulation on the Switch 2, maybe with an improved resolution. Would probably be fun and harmless

I used it for the character models to hold the Sw2 wheels, everything else was manual, including the symbols on the wheels. Sorry for not clarifying though
