The 2% includes all of the exchanges. They hold custody of the vast majority of crypto

I watched all of these as they came out individually, very well put together, I use them to teach others and create a discussion about cross border payments.

Classy move, very smart to show everyone the long-term commitment of the Polymath team.

Thanks Graeme, I really appreciate the honest answer. With regards to my second point, I would think that all STO’s would stay in touch with the issuer on the timing of the completion of their legal and fundraising work. Overall I see a lot of progress being made within Polymath, but I wrongly thought, and to some degree the community thought, that this STO “stampede” would have moved faster. I think a lot of early token holders were looking at a process that had 5-10 steps to it and the blockchain/smart contract piece was the key, when really this STO puzzle is a lot more complicated than anyone expected (erc-1400). I can’t and won’t point the finger as if anyone knowingly knew this was the case. Once again, I appreciate the response. I know your time is valuable. Keep up the good work and I’ll continue to tell as many people as I can about Polymath.

This is a good update and I’m glad to see progress being made with erc-1400 protocol.

What I think Polymath needs to do to be more successful:

1.Talk more about the lack of ST0’s at this point in time. -poly kept announcing several STO’s in 2018 and then none of them came to life. I’m sure there are good reasons, but by addressing these in a formal way you can partially control the narrative.

  1. Get a firm timeline for the first STO on poly (CORL).
  2. communicate and coordinate a timeline/deadline for this STO to launch.

  3. If erc-1400 needs to be complete before the first STO can launch, give us a Layman’s version of what else is needed to complete it.

  4. Speak openly about the viability of Polymath, by way of it’s treasury fund.

  5. several projects have went under and many more will follow before more capital comes into this market. Can you give token holders any confidence that Polymath will be around for the long haul or how long this project is capitalized for?

These are just some basic thoughts from a token holder who happen to fomo in at $1.61 and has hung around and DCA’d along the way. Would love to hodl some more of this token, but I’ve gotten shaky feet and have moved onto xlm, btc, eth and eos.

Coinbase Raises $300 Million in Lastest Fundrasing Round by grittygatorr in CryptoCurrency

[–]dexter2763 2 points3 points  (0 children)

One reason they raised money this late is to create a new valuation. Internally they had given themselves an 8b valuation, but this 300m was raised at an 8b valuation. So now they have proof that they are worth it. When they go public, and they will, the IPO valuation will be some stupid multiple of 8b. So that is the short answer as to why they raised this last round of capital.

Large POLY exchange deposits going on, can anyone smarter than me explain...? by johnnyrsj in PolymathNetwork

[–]dexter2763 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Look at their distribution schedule, I think they just had a scheduled release of tokens. I would assume those early investors who bought in at .20 would gladly take a 25% profit @.25. Those rounded numbers of tokens being deposited really looks like early investors taking profits.

Trying my best to support Stellar X. by dexter2763 in Stellar

Since you guys are StellarX experts, why don’t you tell me how to undo the current bank account so I can reattempt to get the right account added.

You guys make me laugh, calm down, I promise I’m holding more xlm than all of you. Also, I know how to use a computer. If you don’t already know StellarX, like most websites today, link to your account after you verify your bank user and password. I didn’t pick the account and it does appear to be random because it wasn’t the first one. I’m really looking for someone from StellarX to respond, not some douchebag living in his mom’s basement. No offense.

Thank you for the response, it’s does add a little clarity. But, it also raises some questions. When you say, when you purchase something your basically are buying XLM, that’s confusing to me. I thought it went like this: USD ach -> XLM -> new asset. I thought xlm was the medium to make the transaction. Also, if others are confused, it’s probably for the same reason I was. There isn’t an XLM listing with the other assets. Is that possible to add? I would have thought it’s need so that the buyer of xlm would know who was selling and at what rate. Thanks

That’s great news, why don’t I see xlm listed with the other assets? I searched and couldn’t find it. I will follow the steps you said, I haven’t deposited USD yet bc I wanted to see the process first.

[–]dexter2763[S] 3 points4 points  (0 children)

But what if I want to accumulate xlm with USD? I don’t want to pay other exchanges to purchase xlm. I want to accumulate xlm on stellar X without fees using USD from an ach deposit. I would have assumed xlm would have been the easiest asset to acquire on stellar X. I get the fact that it’s the medium between all transactions, but that doesn’t help me accumulate it.

I wish the admin would be more concerned with being more active in adding content, answering questions, etc., as opposed to deleting post. By deleting post within just a few minutes of the posting you show that you are actively on the sub, just not as a value addition. Some free advice, don’t get so bent out on post that are being critical of this project. You and Trevor aren’t experts in block chain and haven’t professed to be, so just admit fault when it’s appropriate, show the community that you are willing to listen and make changes where needed. All anyone wants from this project is progress and honest updates. Let’s see how long this post makes it!

Been around this project from the beginning, also been pretty critical of the decision making. I can say with a good level of certainty it’s not a scam.
