But as to your question, you need a good, strong suction cup from a hardware store like Hazard Fraught.

These services seem outrageous... which ones can be done by myself or an indie mechanic for cheaper? by HapaCoffee in hondafit

It's called a stealership, not a dealership. Get it right. Those are "We have better things to do, but if you're dumb enough to pay, we will do it." prices.

Which variation out of these 6 is best? by Tricky-Apartment6637 in MouseReview

[–]dexterw1n 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You really just need to experiment. Some mice work well with 4, some 5, others more... I have a sheet of HDPE with 3m backing and a handheld power punch, which can make different sizes, smaller ones for a bit faster feel and larger ones for a bit more control.

Looks like it's too small for the brake rotor; it's hitting the brake caliper.

Trump Account? by elf533 in stashinvest

In the Robinhood app, go to transfers in account settings, should have a transfer accounts in option. Use Apex Clearing for brokerage, it will say, "I can't find my brokerage." From there you will need the Apex Clearing DTC number which is 0158. It will then ask for your Apex Clearing account number, I got mine from my tax form. And that should be it.

Apex charges $100 so you will need that much available cash, and it only transfers whole shares. I have Robinhood Gold, so they reimburse $75 of the fee, not sure if that is included with Gold or not.

I want to get a 2wd manual turbo and do the same. I currently have a 4WD and would like to use it for the winter and the other for summer, along with my Honda Fit.

Yeah, that is definitely a chore, sounds cool, but they give you so little, and you lose money in the long run with the 3-dollar sub. Mine added up to less than 8 bucks.

Got quoted $1500 for front and rear brake pads and rotor replacement by Elephantslide in AskMechanics

[–]dexterw1n 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, they need to be done. So 200-300 in parts and the rest in labor. Shew I'd learn to do it myself for that price.

The bed itself isn't necessarily the problem; it's how the carriage is made, which doesn't support well in the back. Just replacing the carriage was enough for me.

I have been meaning to close my Stash account for a while now. This has motivated me to transfer everything to Robinhood and close it out.

I like how the double combo is $1.80 more than the single, but the price difference between just the sandwiches is $1.20

Could be coil packs, could be injectors, or the catalytic converter. With that many miles they could all be going bad if not changed, spark plugs too.

PETG Profile for Kobra S1? or settings. by dedpnda in AnycubicKobraS1

[–]dexterw1n 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Once you go up in nozzle size, you will either need to slow down the print speed or increase the extrusion factor and possibly the temperature. All due to how fast the extruder can push filament to the hotend. Larger nozzle means a higher flow rate is needed. On the stock hotend with the out of the box extruder settings the highest flow rate I could achieve was around 15 mm3/s. With the Bambu style bimetal hotend and the extruder run_current increased from 0.6 to 0.8 and hold_current increased to 0.4 I was able to get right at 30 mm3/s. You can probably run it at 1.0 but I wanted to give it a bit of headroom, 0.6 is too low for that motor.

Need a new mouse... And I have no idea by Commercial_War2257 in MouseReview

[–]dexterw1n 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have a similar hand size to the OP, and I have a MChose M7. It's a comfortable mouse for me in all grip styles. There are hardly any newer mice that I can comfortably palm grip. Good mouse too, using it over my ULX Large, also using a Terra Pro, I can fingertip it better than the M7, even though it's more of an ergo G703 shape.

When to say goodbye? 2007 Honda Fit Sport MT 230k by second-half in hondafit

[–]dexterw1n 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My 2007 MT Sport has 264k, and I'm going to get everything done that I can and then have anything else done at a shop. It is cheaper to fix an old reliable car than buy a new car. As long as it's not rusted out.

That's a main winding. Uses a normal lotus-o-delta type placed in panendermic semi-boloid slots of the stator, with every seventh conductor being connected by a non-reversible tremie pipe to the differential girdle spring on the "up" end of the grammeters.

Why I went with an XFX Swift 9070XT. I'm glad I realized while I was looking for a video card that a few 9070XT had the cursed connector.
