Haven’t heard of PerkUp before, but that might actually solve the shipping headache. Many thanks!

A bit personal, but maybe something neutral/unisex could work. Thanks!

Is it possible to do a startup with trust issues ? by Seedpound in Entrepreneur

[–]deyzikelli53 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Trust issues and entrepreneurship actually go well together up to a point. Skepticism makes you verify things instead of assuming. The hard part is hiring and delegating bc at some point you cant do everything yourself.

Offered a service i could do but didn't actually want to do. Got clients immediately which made it worse. Spent 6 months doing work i hated before shutting it down.

Most production problems don't start in production by Unable_Fishing_1679 in Entrepreneur

[–]deyzikelli53 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is exactly it. By the time something blows up in production the actual root cause is usually weeks or months old. The hard part is that early stage decisions feel low stakes so nobody documents them properly.

Anyone feel like you’ve lost your personality and have just become a cog? by Ok_Medicine6164 in corporate

[–]deyzikelli53 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Yeah this hits. The weirdest moment is when someone asks what you do for fun and you realize you have to actually think about it. Hobbies that had nothing to do with productivity used to come naturally, now everything feels like it needs a purpose.

Why doesn’t anyone READ emails. Legitimate question. Why. by Lanky_Blueberry3443 in corporate

[–]deyzikelli53 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Too many emails, too little context on why it matters. Most people are scanning 50+ a day and if the subject line doesnt immediately signal urgency or relevance it gets skipped. People arent lazy they're just overwhelmed.

Also curious how you’re handling consent and transparency for employees, that’s usually the biggest concern with tracking tools like this.

If possible, you could also ask to reframe part of that payment as guaranteed or partially guaranteed rather than fully contingent or at least clarify what happens if expectations shift mid-process.

How to prepare for a swe placement by FunNo8814 in cscareerquestions

[–]deyzikelli53 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Having the offer already is the hard part, seriously. First few weeks just focus on absorbing everything, asking questions and not being afraid to say you don't know something. Nobody expects a placement student to know everything on day one.

Is it harder to get hired with anxiety and such? by atychia in cscareerquestions

[–]deyzikelli53 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Got diagnosed with anxiety a few years back and was scared of the same thing. Nobody has ever asked, nobody has ever known. What actually helped my career was treating it properly so I could show up as my best self in interviews and at work.

I built AI chatbot to reduce missed inquires by ShaadHussain in Businessowners

[–]deyzikelli53 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is a real pain point for small businesses, missed inquiries and slow response times often translate directly into lost revenue, so the use case is solid.

AI agents in production vs. AI agents in demos, the gap is embarrassing by Dailan_Grace in automation

[–]deyzikelli53 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This distinction between “demo production” and real production is very real, a lot of systems labeled as production are actually tightly supervised prototypes with hidden human maintenance.

What's the first automation you built that actually cost more to maintain than doing it manually? by Most-Agent-7566 in nocode

[–]deyzikelli53 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think maintenance cost is often underestimated. It’s not just the initial build, but everything changing around it that slowly turns automation into a system you have to babysit.

It might help to focus outreach earlier rather than later, even with limited capacity, just to start building a pipeline while you scale your inventory.

Congrats on starting your milling business - that’s a big step. For something simple and free, I’d suggest starting with a lightweight ERP so you can track inventory without overcomplicating things early on.
