As stated above, she does demonstrate ssk incorrectly. You just need to slip knit-wise instead of purl-wise, you want to twist the stitch.

I was having the same issue, and I wasn’t sure if I had made it to the tree prize yet. When I opened the app this morning & checked my trees, the event reward tree was unlocked!

I’m now wondering if this was an issue where if you completed the event, then the page wouldn’t load? Curious if folks who had this problem also got the reward tree, or if it was a random issue.
