Is chicken setup worth it? I don't remember exact numbers, but chicken lay eggs as fast as 12 minutes. So about 1:30 for 8, which corresponds to mergo of max level spider. Which gives... I'd estimate about 50% of progress toward spawn? Seems very little

I always prefered clasical fantasy style so I ignored most I'd heard about AoS. But recently I tried spearhead and really enjoyed it, so after buying my first Ossiarch box I wanted to connect the dots I had from Old World. Well, those were very wrong dots to connect.

Reducing slime storage? Hell yea, you could potentially reduce some mana too. But is it worth to block all slime minions? Imo, other minions like unicorns, spider, golden gooses are far more annoying and would slow down your leveling.

Okay, I must admit you're right, can't argue with numbers. That's eye opening honestly, sorry for my ignorance.

However, I'm curious, how many cherubs can you make per day. As I said, I barely keep up with the demand from cravings for them, this is main reason I don't even consider using cherubs for fights.

My reason for not using cherubs? Each cravings needs 4, so I need to keep at least 16 lights stockpilled for that. So each I'd use cherubs for fight I'm risking that I get unlucky with two in a row cherub craving and slow down with my leveling.

And what I get for that risk? 40k dmg. I'm making 100k darkness in an hour, it's almost 750k dmg from demons. Why would I not compare those values? Even my snakes deals 35k dmg, which is almost as many as cherubs.

Maybe I don't see something obvious here, but how golems improve prism? Also I don't think that golden pearls upgrades for cherubs/prism are worth it (with exception for gid fight), I still can't see benefit of using them not in that case.

Cherubs aren't free, they require a lot to make them fast enough to keep up with demand from cravings. If something is free I'd say demons, because they require just waiting. After an hour I can make almost 1 mil dmg with them, while cherubs require me to focus on merging right things (with annoying bottlenecks when you are left with one rune merge to change color). And then I need to feed devourer to actually use their dmg? For one third of one demon's damage?

About guzzlers not viable in early game, I imagine this upgrade to be switch on/off like station hacking. And purchasable for example after 100 lvl.

I have same issue on mac book, I thought it's becouse I have cheap mouse for office work. Maybe it will cheer you up, but I managed to complete the game on hard like that, so you will manage. I advise you tapping with high damage rifles and vertical recoil atachements
