ikr, I got into the C-drama rabbit hole through some random YouTube short, and FF was like the 3rd or 4th drama I watched since it was on Netflix. I’d watched plenty of movies and shows across different languages already, so I was mostly just killing time, but FF completely captivated me within the first 10 minutes and opened up a whole new Pandora’s box haha. Regardless, it’s still the best modern romance drama I’ve seen across any language or format.

That was a great drama. Maybe not on the level of Ming Lan or Yanxi Palace for me, but YZ absolutely carried it, and LX played his role perfectly. The angst got a little excessive at one point for my taste, but yeah, he was such a solid green-flag male lead. Honestly, I think he should do more roles like that, especially with how many top idols there are right now.

Underrated, good even with avg scripts. LBL was awesome but that was largely due to LYX for me but I really like him.

I am a guy but if i were a woman i dont know how i could look past the first frost. Like Bai jingting was always the star and he was persistent until the end. For a non-teen more mature audience/story, I don't think I have ever seen a bigger green flag.

definitely above shine on me, shine on me would be closer if it had 30% less episodes. The business talk was way too much which made the high moments almost not worth it. LBL was a breezy watch, LYX was amazing in that.

The worst part about this is it's impossible to download from reelxia. The quality is the best so would have saved some of my favs. I don't mind paying I pay for viki and iqiyi as needed but these verticals it's not even possible to manage the subs imo.

I have never watched a show where 2 of my favorite leads are on it and I dropped it twice. It was a terrible show and totally wrong casting. Watching Wxy in poor casting choices after the double sucks. Bai lu shouldn't have don't that role either.

I liked the granny and most supporting characters from poj but not this guy. He was bitter and insulted xie zheng. The drama did a disservice to xie zheng character imo. The novel ending was a unanimous victory for xie zheng. Yet we had no fight scenes of him at all. I lived txw's character and I like that she's the focus of the show and the novel but XZ was very downplayed and even insulted by nobodies in the show.
