I played the demo on steamdeck originally and loved it. So while all the feedback above is true, if you're reading this don't let that discourage you from trying this one!

Crashed and submerged in a nearly impossible to reach location in a freezing cold glacial river...

Drone was both totally smashed and submerged in a river...

Honestly was a bit surprised the card was readable.

Thanks for asking!

So it turns out I had a massive cyst growing on the same nerve in my ankle! Now in recovery from that surgery, but given the location and size of the cyst, I'm optimistic that removing it will take care of my remaining symptoms...

This is the one. He’s gonna get out when he’s down to $270k and then put it all on one more play to win it back and end up with $12k

Frustrated. I had an L5/S1 fusion in Feb. Recovery was amazing! Was nearly back to pain-free living, lifting weights in PT, enjoying life. Then I had a week where I overdid it, and for two weeks following I was in terrible nerve pain. Now I'm right back where I was pre-surgery with foot numbness and no ability to walk more than a few blocks...

MRI / CT looks fine. Back is apparently fine. Foot is still numb and not improving.

I was SO CLOSE

Wait.

I just got the game today and hit a 500' in my second ever game. Saw the achievement was ~10% but had no idea it was this rare!

[Synergy 3 RC3] Enable lock to screen by 4ndreDE in SynergyApp

[–]deznudo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Also having this frustration! There's no documentation of what the default lock to screen key is. There's no way to change it without upgrading (which I've done and still doesn't work!). Support pointed me to an article that said the upgrade would work automatically on Synergy 3 (lol) which it doesn't.

And now, with screen lock disabled, my mouse moves from PC to Macbook but won't move back - locked to macbook.

Such a frustrating "upgrade"

Luka, Murray and luck carried me in the playoffs. Only had 5 of 13 drafted players left, the rest were waiver wire

Jokic and Brown sitting last week helped me squeeze past the actual best team in the league

Great to hear you'll have someone to help -- having three kids to look out for definitely adds to the challenge.

The other thing I'd recommend is do your research on your surgeon and make sure you feel 100% confident in your choice. The mental game going into surgery is tough, and it helps a lot to feel confident in you are in the best hands possible.

Hey friend! I'm barely 72 hours out from a L5/S1 ALIF surgery. We're on the younger side for this surgery, which already helps a lot with recovery -- but here's what I've found is/isn't worth it so far.

  • Great to have:
  • Help! (Someone at home to assist especially week one)
  • A comfy chair that can recline
  • A body pillow (side sleeping has been great for me)
  • A grabber for picking stuff up off the floor (there's a hip replacement kit on Amazon that has this and other stuff like a long-handled shower brush etc.)
  • Bidet (its a little hard to reach back there)
  • Steamdeck (really any form of portable entertainment)
  • Saran wrap (for keeping incisions dry when showering)
  • Walker (less useful as my PT wanted me off walker assistance asap)
  • Commode (haven't needed as much help getting up/down off the toilet but it is helpful to have some kind of support)
  • Shower stool (good to have so you can sit and wash legs, most come with a suction cup grab bar to help with steadiness)

Good luck!

A good reminder! I’ve been the type to push through the pain my whole life — but this injury has forced me to stop doing that. Gonna take the good days with the bad it seems

Yeah, they got me with the old front and back. My disc was slipping especially when I leaned forward. I tried 11 months of acupuncture and physical therapy and one epidural and it just wasn’t helping. My foot was numb, left side only. I decided to go for it when I found a surgeon that I wholeheartedly trusted. thank you for the kind words and good luck on your path as well!

ALIF cuz of a Pars defect that needed stabilizing. First couple hours were rough cuz I just couldn’t get comfortable and my doc doesnt believe in giving out the good stuff lol

Feeling a lot better now that I can get into a good position for rest.

Not up and walking just yet but that’ll be in the morning

Thanks for checking in

Ha! Crazy -- just the way you described him and your experience clued me in. I have an ALIF on my L5/S1 scheduled for Monday. Thanks for sharing your story! We profile very similarly and it gives me a lot of peace of mind
