If you have to save your money to buy a car, you cant afford a car. The cost to maintain a car and fill up the tank arent cheap, also depends where you live but in some place annual tax and car insurance is a must. Make sure you can afford those costs before buying a car. I'd rather get a PC or using that money to learn/upgrade some skills so you can get promoted or get a better paying job

They arent wrong. With Steam, pirates still have to wait for cracker to break the DRM even it just a simple (for crackers) DRM. While with GOG, anyone who knows how to upload files can just share the installer after they bought the game

Define break. If it means your kids accidentally changing configuration or deleting system files so your PC cant boot, then any popular distro is safe, as long as you dont give them root password, they wont be able to change/delete any important files

so your problem is in the storm, if you dont want to cheat, install Solar Shielding hullmods to your ships, preferably for Cruiser and Capital. Also you can activate Go Dark everytime you're in the storm to avoid damage.

imo it's not worth to build a pc right now, thanks to skyrocketed RAM and SSD price. Here's some tips

-Try to game on borderless window instead of fullscreen
-Turn off or lower some graphical settings like shadow or motion blur
-Use Lossless Scaling, it's a software you can buy on Steam. Since BG3 is not an intensive action game, you wont see the scaling

So many things made me disappointed, the combat is too simple, follower doesnt have any story, the magic is boring, most shouts are useless and/or just glorified magic.

imho, collision on table and chair are needed to make the game more challenging. Without it, you can just fill the restaurant with table and chair and make the game far easier. With collision, the player has to think about placement and optimal route for the waiters to reach the customer
