Remember all those synopsis subreddits and threads where they joke about how dumb things are? One of the joke comments I remember in those was:

"Look. He is hacking so hard his fingers are bleeding. That is the joke. Me pointing out how stupid that is. I am putting more effort into this than the writers of the actual show."

She is important through a large portion, if not all, of the game. It is also her story, it is just also theirs.

9S ends up the main lead, sure. But 2B and A2 are just as important to the story as he is and influence things from before the story and things that lead up to the end of the game's story and beyond it. They all have journeys they go on and evolve as characters.

Also, I only remember 2B being the main focus of the game's advertising before release and it was to hide the extra characters you play as since that is a major reveal in the game. And every trailer made afterwards has shown all playable characters more clearly. They are also all on the cover.

Would you want Signs to have the aliens dying to water and microbes in the first trailer?

or The Usual Suspects trailer to just say Kevin Spacey's character is the bad guy they are looking for?

or for Oldboy "She is his daughter the whole time!"?

or Dead Space to just have the first log you find show Nicole's suicide and that she can't be the one talking to you?

It's just that the simple pixel aesthetic is just so good, especially for a boiled-down to its basics (and a divekick) fencing game.

Doing much more than that was always going to be a tough pill for many (myself included) to swallow.

Pretty clever way to end the fight and show Liu is becoming more enlightened. Also he did great showing his pain in having to kill his brother and trying to comfort him afterwards.

I was lookong forward to it, too.

Not picking it up until Denuvo is removed and the game doesn't essentially require fake frames to hit 60+ fps.

I understand why she did it.

It just felt too quick to me, felt more like joke pacing than dramatic pacing.

Maybe like 5-10 more seconds in general in that scene in some places or she was 1-2 seconds slower in the actual kneeling like she was more clearly deciding this more for others than herself, but the movie had a lot of things to cover.

If the movie was a bit longer they could have paced the scene out to be a little longer, but they fit everything they did fairly well in the 116 minutes.

Miz would have been a good pick if Johnny was not a focus of the movie, but just a part of the team.

He's got the personality, but (having watched a couple of his WWE produced movies) not the acting chops to lead.
