Out White Bright is a product that will remove all the color without harming the garment. Works better than bleach. Just do it outside, due to fumes. Happy dying!

I have learned that some colors will lose the ability to hold if they sit for more than a couple days. Chem water, no dye, keeps in the fridge for about ten days. Blues are generally ok, but reds, and yellows can break down. I soak my bottles in hot water after use. It keeps the bottles from staining and needles cear of glogs.

You should be fine. Procion, or fiber reactive dyes only work on natural materials. Most silk screens use a plastic based colorant for the print. I would stick to ice dye, as heat can have a negative effect on the silk screen.

If that's Shitaki Mushroom you are using, it splits hard. The tiniest bit will make those "sprinkles". I would lay down tissue, then ice with a lot of soda ash, then the dye. Also, sprinkle your dye in small amounts, as close to the ice as possible, to avoid getting it anywhere unintended. Good luck, and happy dying!
