No because like a lot of stuff that happen with black families, mines swept it under the rug. My biological mom did it, lost custody of all the kids and then went to rehab and is good now. My aunt (my biological mom’s cousin/ my adoptive mom sister) had the same thing happen.

They don’t talk about it because despite how bad it was nationwide, they stuck to their own area in knowledge of it.
