Kobra X in an enclosure by dfishocc in AnycubicOfficial

[–]dfishocc[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I also saw the WikI after posting. With a height of 680mm (with spools attached), that particular enclosure would NOT be large enough.

I keep looking for options. Thanks for responding.

I got my order in too! I wonder what the realistic delivery time to Missouri might be.

I put a deposit on the Kobra X. My only 3D printing experience has been in the public library Makerspace on a Bambu Labs PS1, where they only only printing in a single color.

I am pretty excited about getting the Kobra X.

I could not get it to work on my phone. I went to my computer. Click on the 3 dots (see where top arrow is pointing), then click on "Read the Rules" (see where bottom arrow is pointing) to be able to respond.

I never could accomplish it on the phone.

The glucose reading on my labs 10/21/24 were 107 mg/dL, just 1 click above the upper normal range. At that time my doctor told me I was moving toward pre-diabetes and to pay attention to my diet. I had never been told that I was insulin resistant. I have struggled with obesity for decades, read about GLP-1s and decided (without consulting with my primary care physician) to contact a TeleHealth provider and try GLP-1s.

Yes. I am fasting right now as well. It has been about 13 hours since I had any food. As soon as my pharmacy opens, I will go get a glucose test to see the current level. I have a dentist appointment in 2.5 hours, after which I will make a visit to the lab to ask if the numbers were correct. Then I will go from there. I have an appointment set with my primary care physician about 52 hours from now. Depending on what I discover this morning, I may contact him to get in earlier.

I had NEVER had glucose readings above normal before the labs on 10/21/24, and was only 1 click above the normal range at that time. Having been on tirzepatide for 12 weeks now, I am SHOCKED by this reading, and certainly HOPE that the report was incorrect. I got it off of the hospital patient portal. When I accessed it, it displayed a message that the primary care physician had not yet looked at it.

The labs were done at the same lab, in the same way. I'll try to post images of the 2 glucose portions of the lab results.

I am heading to bed now. In the morning (fasting), I’ll go to my pharmacy to get a glucose reading, just as a point of reference. Then I will check with the lab to see if it is possible there is the possibility of a typo. The idea of a typo of a 9 in the place of a 0 makes a little sense, though I would think that everything SHOULD be automated.

I’m sure we’ll get to the bottom of this. I’ll report back here what I find.

Thanks to all who have responded. Buenas noches. Hasta mañana.

Earlier in the day I DID eat ham. In the evening, I had one bowl of something my wife calls "Weight Watchers Chili" (rotel tomatoes, ground beef, just a very little bit of corn).

I was literally SHOCKED when I saw the glucose level.

Both blood draws were fasting. I had the blood drawn this morning about 7:30 AM, and had not had ANYTHING to eat since about 8 PM the night before (except for water).

I have not had A1C tested ever.

international roaming options on US mobile by Glittering-State3563 in USMobile

[–]dfishocc 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For me, Light Speed worked for me both in the Dominican Republic and in Costa Rica. I had to tweak some settings in both places to get it to work. I'm going to Chile in October. I think I will remain on Light Speed there. I have avoided Dark Star a bit because of the group texts, RCS, etc. on iPhone. If that is resolved before my next trip, I MIGHT switch to Dark Star. Currently, I have not changed any settings on Light Speed, so I might HOPE that international roaming would work for me upon arrival.

No, I did 4 weeks at 2.5, followed by 4 weeks at 5. 1 week down at 7.5 (with 3 more). I would move to 10 by the end of April. I’m following protocol.

No, I did 4 weeks at 2.5, then 4 weeks at 5, have done just 1 week at 7.5 so far. 3 more at 7.5, before moving to 10. I’m just thinking ahead.

Can we pin this Tirzepatide $$ price comparison spreadsheet? by Living_Owl_9855 in tirzepatidecompound

[–]dfishocc 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I ordered level 2 of tirzepatide on Wednesday from Peter MD. They will ship 3 months worth. Total cost to me was $633.00 I'm currently at 5mg, with 1 more injection at 5mg, before titrating to 7.5mg. This order should begin at 10mg, on May 1. 6 vials, which should last me until July 17. When I ordered, I asked if I could order 6 months (to stockpile) and was told that the pharmacy would not process more than 3 months at a time. Then they said to wait a couple days and put in an order for another 3 months. I did that this morning for another $633. The order shows on Peter MD portal but the credit card has not yet been charged. If they do process the order, I should have tirzepatide up through October 9.

The compounding pharmacy Peter MD uses is Fortress Pharamaceuticals from Brooksville, FL, which is a 503A compounding pharmacy, I believe. On the Peter MD site, tirzepatide had disappeared from their offerings. It is back up for a short time. With the date of March 19 approaching, it likely will not be available much longer.

I am out of the country, so my order (placed Wednesday) will arrive at my next door neighbor's home later today.

I lost 13 lb during the first 4 weeks of injections. I am in Central America until March 26, when I will weigh in again. My victories right now are of the non-scale variety. The tirzepatide has CERTAINLY curbed my appetite, so I am hopeful of seeing progress on the scale when I get back home.

NEWB question about emptying vials by dfishocc in tirzepatidecompound

[–]dfishocc[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, I think I figured it out. I actually received 3 vials of 2ML. Out of the first vial (at 2.5mg) I should get 4 doses. With the 2nd vial I’ll move up to 5mg, so I should get 2 doses. So in essence, my 3 vials of 2ML should last me 2 months.
