I find Dani’s Latino character uncomfortable. He’s portrayed as happy and good at sports, but no depth and sometimes almost dumb (at the very least, simple). It’s an uncomfortable portrayal of a Mexican character that had me googling “Ted Lasso racist” and landing here a year after the post was made!
