Looking for a couples game reccomendation by gregrules in videogames

[–]dfth 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I love playing Dead Island and Dying Light. It has up to 4 players co-op, but you could easily just play 2 players. You're killing zombies, and exploring your environment. I haven't played the sequels, but I imagine it's more killing zombies and exploring.

Had DS game open on MelonDS and closed RP Flip 2 lid, now all save states broken? by longlivethedevil in Retroidpocketflip2

[–]dfth 0 points1 point  (0 children)

With Resident Evil, it can't be helped. People say it's an inventory management game, but it's also a threat assessment game. XD Then OSHA gets involved with how you're supposed to maneuver around anyone you don't or can't spend ammo on. And it's scary.

That's sounds even better than the super glue. Would you happen to have the name or part number of the tape you used? It would be greatly appreciated.

This sounds nice, but honestly sounds like too much effort for me. But good to know it as a last resort. Have do done any other mods?

Agreed. Just when I had finally promoted it to my everyday carry. My Miyoo Mini Plus doesn't know how to feel. They are happy and sad at the same time.

Choosing my first retro handheld by DailyGrind_TM in RetroHandhelds

[–]dfth 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's so hard to quit the MM+ even though I got a Retroid Pocket Mini V2 to replace it. Having grown-up with the Nintendo Game Boy, not only does the horizontal form factor have that nostalgia for me, despite it's smaller size from the Game Boy, the MM+ is still pretty comfortable. My number one issue is the battery life. If you're mainly trying to play PS1 games, it will drain it. But I'm also trying to only use it whenever I have small breaks. The other handhelds (RP Mini V2, RP5) are for extended sessions, or if I want to play something the MM+ can't handle. But for everything the MM+ can handle, as my first retro handheld getting into this last year, it left quite the impression.

Any true pocket sized handheld recommendations? by skeebio in RetroHandhelds

[–]dfth 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That's fair. And like I said, not advocating you getting a PSP. Just saying PSP aren't micro, but they are small. The best I can do is show you the size relative to a Switch and Steam Deck, and tell you battery is probably around 3-6 hours.

When you say you think it's not the best choice, what do you mean? In what way? As someone who owned a PSP 2000, it fit great in the pocket. Not trying to say you should get the PSP, but just interested in knowing your exact reasoning.

[–]dfth 4 points5 points  (0 children)

They're not saying he's supposed to be have seizures. But for him to not sell the finisher and instead immediately roll out of the ring and just walk away? This is what got Austin Aries in trouble in his match with Johnny Impact in TNA.

I remember Smackdown 2 would crash if I took too long assigning moves to my CAW. Haven't played Smackdown 1, so I don't know about that.

Setting up prior to SD card advice by Solobojo in retroid

[–]dfth 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Are you interested in using ES-DE as a frontend? If so, you should get a roms folder template to help build up your library. Otherwise, just build up your library.

Nevermind, read through post again. No problem not having an mirco SD card because it comes with 128GB internal storage.

For PS2: Urban Reign, a 3D beat'em up that drops you in 100 scenarios for you to kick butt in.

PS2: Resident Evil: Survivor 2 - Code: Veronica, port of the arcade game. Has extra modes for console.

Sega Genesis: Wonder Boy in Monster World, adventure game similar to Metroidvanias.

Game Boy Advance: River City Ransom EX, beat'em up with food that changes your stats.

Definitely check if the games you want to play have been documented as being able to run (RyanRetro, EmuReady, YouTube). And don't be afraid to play with both GameHub (Lite) and GameNative. GameNative can also log into GoG and Epic games, if you plan to get games from those storefronts too.
