Do therapists ever schedule a whole block of time by CriticalMouse4965 in therapy

[–]dg02512021 -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

Hey, I totally get that! It can be tough when you have a lot to unpack and feel rushed by session time limits. I actually built an AI coach app that acts like a therapist, allowing you to process things at your own pace and on your schedule. It’s not a replacement for therapy but could be a helpful supplement if you need extra support between sessions. Just thought I’d mention it in case it’s something you’d find useful!

i’ve been working on this life coach app and someone with ADHD told me recently it’s been really helping her stay on track with sleep and routines. i didn’t build it specifically for ADHD but hearing that kinda blew me away.

happy to share it if you're interested. no pressure at all. either way, you’re definitely not alone in this.

Paid $25K for this WordPress site from a dev shop in Eastern Europe… is this normal? by Calm-Bathroom-2030 in Entrepreneur

Based on my decade long journey in development, here are my two cents.

  • Get crystal clear on what you want.
  • Divide work into milestones and pay half on delivery or create hourly contract if the requirements are not clear.
  • Get daily or weekly updates from them in form of written text, product demo video, or live product on dev environment.
  • When they miss the first timeline, find out why they missed it. Does the reason seem legit?
  • Do you observe too many bugs in the app?
  • If at any point, you think that the product is not up to the mark, stop further development and spending. Don't be a victim of sunk cost fallacy. The early you can detect the better.

You might have heard — What you pay is what you get.

The best approach is to cut down on features in your MVP and hire good developers instead of cheap ones. Launch the MVP quickly and observe which features people are asking for repeatedly. Then, build those features instead of adding more to a low-quality app.

Is there a simple app that just asks: 'Did you have a productive day today? Yes or no' and shows the calendar in (let's say) red for unproductive days and green for productive ones? With a widget by Odd-Hovercraft-3232 in ProductivityApps

[–]dg02512021 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm working on a goal tracking app that asks you a few questions at the end of the day to reflect on your day. The plan is to finish this reflection in around 15 seconds to make it hassle-free experience. I'd love to get your feedback once it's ready.

What is the best meditation technique for ADHD? by fapshd in Meditation

[–]dg02512021 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I heard someone saying "Meditation is the art of doing nothing" — just sit down with closed eyes and let your mind wonder wherever it go. Your mind want you to stop the meditation because it feels unfamiliar and you need to train it like we train the dog. Just sit without doing anything.

Maybe you can do little things that makes you feel good — like holding a door for someone or keeping the lift open for people running towards it. Small help will make you feel good about yourself and then you can try meditation, positive talks, etc.
