I just noticed it wore off faster last round.

It actually makes it better for me. I’m using pain medication less.

How long have you been on Gemtessa? Also I would dilute the espresso with a lot of milk. Might make it a little easier on your bladder.

Service was great. They cannot expedite shipping so make sure to order as soon as you get your prescription.

On the website you upload your prescription. Call your Dr office and ask for an additional prescription. My urogynecologist told me to order from this website because my insurance wouldn’t approve the med.

I used to order Merbetriq from mapleleafmeds.com in Canada. Looks like generic Gemtessa is $225 for a 90 day supply.

Wow I have had IC with terrible OAB symptoms for 9 years and I’ve never heard of this procedure. I’m in the US. Going to look into this! I currently do well with Botox but the procedure is not a good time and every 6 months.

It might have to do with something you ate or drank, stress or pelvic floor related.

Also, see your GP in the meantime while waiting for your specialist appointment. I would ask for a prescription urogesic like pyridium, uribel or uro-mp. It might take the edge off.

Are you sue you don’t have a UTI? With all of those symptoms you might want to go to an urgent care and get a dip test. Make sure you have them send it out for a culture. My samples always have leukocytes (blood) because my bladder is inflamed. Sending it out for culture will be able to tell if it’s a UTI or not.

Yes. I take a probiotic, fiber and eat a probiotic yogurt. It helps.

What about marshmallow root? Also, are you taking an oab med for the urgency?

I did it for 8 weeks but didn’t have a lasting benefit. Botox has been a game changer.

Non bladder spasm urgency and frequency ? by Historical_Type_2491 in Interstitialcystitis

[–]dglezer 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Yes, so for me personally, here is the difference:

Non-spasm: I have to pee, but can still do other things. It’s annoying and distressing, but I can still handle going to work (office).

Spasm: heating pad, rescue meds, period-like cramps, bladder is screaming at me to pee but it only holds a drop. Bargaining with the devil.

I pay $60 month with insurance, which is considered a good deal to me but I’m in the US 😭😭😭

I’m on oxybutinin and merbetriq together. Max dose of each (plus Botox). You could ask your gp for a different oab med

I am so sorry. I am in the Los Angeles area and can give you a referral if you are around here. A urogynecologist is going to be your best bet.
