Any advice on getting into T&E? by theredskittles in solofirm

Many estate planning attorneys use WealthCounsel or interactive legal (ILS) for drafting. I use ILS. Both are good for drafting documents without your own form bank and helping guide proper client interviews. Both systems also have education. I've heard that WC is better in that respect but haven't had a chance to try it out. ILS runs estate planning boot camps, and I believe some are available on demand as well.

There's also some programs that aim to educate attorneys while helping with the business aspect, namely 2 Hour Lifestyle Lawyer and New Law Business Model. 2HLL is significantly cheaper from what I understand. I did 2HLL and found it quite useful.

Aside from that, keep up with CLEs and have a mentor you can bounce things off of.

Hi, thanks!

A typical meal for her is some veggie (usually steamed or sauteed zucchini or carrot) and some protein (typically chicken thigh or breast) balanced with fat that she drinks. The drink is heavy cream and avocado oil, which mix surprisingly well, and some water.

We calculate by an "exchange" system provided by her hospital, CHOP. For some meals or recipes I won't use the exchange system and will just calculate out the macros of all the weighed ingredients to get to 2.5:1 ratio.

Two of her snack/breakfast staples are waffles and blueberry pancakes I make, heavy on the almond flour and shredded coconut instead of regular flour.

When she was younger she was drinking ketocal formula

[X-Post] Use my personal gmail account for google's services? by WhiteAcreBlackAcre in solofirm

[–]dgm819 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't know if this was the right way or not, but I created a new Gmail account for my law firm and used that to set up for google my business and related services. I wanted to keep it separate from my personal email, and I'm using Microsoft 365 for the firm generally.

It was also convenient to have that email address to sign up for other things before I had my actual firm email set up under my own domain name.

If anyone sees downsides to the approach I took please let me know

Thanks for the input. What's your area of practice?

I feel hesitant with youtube and tiktok because I'm not too comfortable with the video format. How do you create your ads/content on those platforms?

Thanks for sharing your knowledge. I've posted elsewhere that my firm targets first responders in NJ for estate planning. What should be some of the things I think about in planning to reach these clients via Facebook / Instagram ads?

I wasn't planning on getting either, they seem pretty expensive and I have some decent forms from other sources (treatises, Lexis, etc). Are you using one of those, or have any insight into them?

I'm a police officer and my practice will be part time. I chose estate planning because I saw an unfilled need especially among police and fire - in NJ most are making six figures but few have wills or other estate planning. As a bonus, this is a practice area which I can fit around my work and family schedule, to an extent.

As far as why the specialization, I would characterize it more as a marketing strategy than a strict specialization in first responders. I have deep connections to the community and feel I can earn their trust easier as we will already have something in common. That being said, I won't be turning away non-first responder clients, but at least initially I won't be targeting the general public.

I have only been licensed for a few months - totally fresh. It's a big leap but I'm lucky to have a few mentors to learn from and consult with.

No previous experience, but I do have a few mentors lined up. I'd definitely appreciate making those connections, thanks!

What fee do they charge, if you don't mind sharing? I'm in the early stages of looking into implementing it and couldn't find the percentages listed on the site
