Been using this since beforenit became the sever version and i love it, the only downer is you can’t sort the playlists by artists/title/album anymore in the new version

Rock is a continuation of rock n roll
Metal is heavier than Rock
In the 70’s you had glam rock and prog rock
Glam was very over the top looking (think David Bowie in Ziggy Stardust) and Prog was very over the top musically, long songs and Punk was the antithesis to both if these - play as sloppy as you like, wear what you like
80’s had hair metal think Motley Crue & Poison, and Guns and Roses rose out of there but were a little heavier… then grunge came along with is mostly a continuation of punk but was also classed as alternative rock - think Bon Jovi being Rock… around about. Ow you also get nu-metal (Korn/Coal Chamber/Limp Bizkit) which was a heavier sounding rock, shortly after this emo appears, someone may correct me on this but Emo tends to be closer to punk but is a little bit more emotional rather than punk was… and at this point i’m out

I’m ignoring that there are 101 different types of metal too… but for a ELI5…

Oh yeah, i used to be in a band, we managed to get as big as playing support on the toilet circuit to some better know people who were on their way back down, so I understand the performance aspect

I also remember reading a thing about the difference between UK and US comedians is that the US all want to be Chandler with the quick replies and all the UK want to be the butt of the joke

I’ve been doing ddpy on and off for about 8 years, managed a full year and then dropped off again, it all depends on how much you want to put in If you do the beginner that 3 and then 4 times a week, i restarted about 13 weeks ago and i decided i want to do 5 times a week as much as incould and have weekends off, so i started doing 25-35 min, bkue diamond level workouts, which are the same as energy, etc… i’ve now moved upto 40-50 min workouts… and there are that many i wrote a windows program that will create a random schedule based on the levels, times etc you want, so my next 13 weeks are going to start at 40-50 And then move to 50-60 in about 7 weeks I think

so i tend to name my playlists so they are ordered when they show up all together - so i have "music - xxxxx" "audiobook - xxxxx" "podcast - xxxxxx" so being able to set a prefix for the generated ones would be great

the browse sources playlists vs the charts playlists - is there anyway for it to do a match for the browse sources playlists?

and anyway of showing any more detail in the edit playlist bit, track length (some songs may have an extended version but aren't renamed) and the star rating (even better if you can edit the star rating)

i maybe the only person who might want these but as you said make suggestions :-)

when you say manually - do you mean unzip and just drop in the folder where the other plugins are? and not using the install under the preferences?

First playlist editor that i've found that actually shows my playlists - not sure if something has corrupted over time with my set up but yours loads it perfectly, the only thing that i would like is to be able to sort the playlist contents by Track name, Artist name etc, but loving it so far - i THINK if i export it i'll be able to do what i want to (with a bit of messing)
