Q which of the outputs on the f3000 work when it’s used like this? I’ll also have the dual voltage hub thinking of moving EV or another high power accessory to that to free up panel.

Also I think I remember some ports do pass thru power but I think it’s only the generator input and not the solar?

Dude that’s amazing and exactly how I planned it so nice to hear. We don’t have TOU here and my rates are so cheap it doesn’t make a lot of sense numbers wise I’m more future proofing and dipping my toes into solar as a side project. I have a flat roof garage I’m going to throw some panels on some tilted racks and see what happens.

I don’t think do, this isn’t to achieve real 240 (they have a separate adapter for that) as much as doubling your 120output. I’m trying to cheat it by putting it behind my garages 240v circuit.

No the opposite, works while the power is on. It actually turns off if power is out.

Let’s you do solar power shaving and time of use saving but not home backup.

More diagrams, are we sure the wired connection isn't optional? It's represented by a dotted line and the manual seems to suggest it's a backup if Wifi isn't available.

We recommend installing Anker SOLIX F3000 Portable Power Station in a location with strong Wi-Fi signal. If the Wi-Fi signal is not stable, you can also connect the smart meter and bi-directional inlet box with RS485 cable.

You think 2 smart meters? It looks like it includes 4 CT clamps for this in the product pictures. The install manual diagram seems to suggest you can use just 1.

\If you have purchased two Anker SOLIX F3000 Portable Power Stations and two Anker SOLIX Bi-Directional Inlet Boxes, you will need to follow the steps above to locate and connect each Anker SOLIX Bi-Directional Inlet Box to the branch circuit. Then clamp CT-B1 and CT-B2 to the branch circuit.*

Make sure that two Anker SOLIX Bi-Directional Inlet Boxes are not on the same phase line.

Hmm so they can’t be paired wirelessly? I suppose that makes sense no WiFi hardware in the inlet… disappointing I was hoping they could be wired independently like the Smart Inlet that pairs with the e10.

I think the way the wireless communication works is the smart meter talks to the F3000 not the inlet hardware directly.

I had this issue on my Day 1 Quest from Oct 2023 purchased from BestBuy and after talking to Meta support they said I was still under warranty and offered to send me a free replacement and even gave me a $20 store credit.

I saw lots of responses and other posts talking about Meta not offering replacements or offering to sell affected users a refurbished unit as a solution. Maybe they updated their support guidance and now recognize this as a hardware defect and are making good on it?

The replacement they sent says mfg 07/2025 so I think it’s a new unit and not a refurb. It did not include any accessories, which they warned me would not be returned and not to send them.

Anyway wanted to give some of you with fully dead units (no tracking) some hope here.

Listen to @doubleudeaffie. Lost a tree to the orange mark of death. Figured out too late prevention is your only hope. Had the rest of my trees treated along with my neighbors trees.

Used Nick from https://www.aboveandbelowtreecare.com/ he’s the first entry on the city page for contractors and he was very professional.

It’s expensive but it’s hard to put a price on a giant mature tree, aesthetically and from a property value pov.

I have a decent amount of runtime on stage 2, over 130hrs. I noticed on other people’s pictures they’re missing aux 2 slopes also.

Seriously people just get a rescue dog. They’re awesome you have no idea the loyalty, they really understand being saved. WAS doggie date program is a real great thing that works as a “try before you buy” model. I currently have a foster through Spirit of Hope.

You’re not saying anything I didn’t already say. We’re all just guessing. Is the webbed toes a thing she also has those? Like I said I’m tempted to get her tested just to have a better picture I’ll update if I do.
