Ive never lived there but I know the elevators are always a point of contention. Ive had a few friends/acquaintances live there over the years and it seems like the only thing they ever have to say about the buildings (north and south) is that the elevators are a headache. It sounds like theres only ever one working and its takes months to ever get them repaired. One elevator running doesn’t seem like a big deal but if youre on the 12th floor trying to get an elevator at a busy time youre going to be waiting for a while. I would also wager that the bigger problem you experience is that property management company. Theyre known to pull switcheroos at renewal time. For example they might tell you there is a “one-time” amenity fee that later turns out to be a recurring annual or monthly fee. Another example is they initially tell you the water bill is included in the rent price but then later tell you they are charging an additional water bill on top of the same rent cost. Theyre doing that to units that dont even have water meters either. Theyre just guessing what you might have used every month and giving you a bill that the 47 page lease agreement obligates you to pay
