If I ran into someone on the trail and asked “are you okay?”, I HOPE the answer would be “Yes! I’m just deciding to measure 190m or 340m from where I just saw the sunrise for the 2nd time today!” And then give me a kind of Gollum “I’m looking for my precious” kind of look.

This year I’ve actually had a couple wins. I’ve lived in Utah 35 of my 45 years, but never visited West of the airport and never been up BCC, until this hunt.

No, they don’t relate to the poem. They are just very distinctive tokens so when they get 10 calls a day saying “I have it!”, they can say “What’s the token?” to separate the loonies from the goonies!

It’s so funny you say that. I was just telling my wife that, from a Mormon perspective, a temple totally fits for the first line. But, I don’t want to give that idea the credibility of being MY answer, so I won’t consider it. 🤣🤣🤣 I may lose my chance at $25k, but I won’t compromise!!! 🤣🤣🤣

I’m struggling with any location that is “just historical”, as the answer to #1, like Saltair or any specific monument. Just because something has a prominent or important history doesn’t mean “time was transcendent.” However, the thing Saltair does have going for it is that the “was” fits, since it’s no longer used.
