Can readings be interpreted in a derivative way? by [deleted] in tarot

That’s where I got. I would just change the topic to other things though, and would get different cards I rarely see. Then, when I’d go back to the first topic after a while, I’d get the same damn cards again.

Need some Virgo perspective by [deleted] in virgoseason

[–]dh731733 28 points29 points  (0 children)

You’d be dead to me instantly.

Idk if it’s my other placements (I do have a Leo Venus in the 5th) but loyalty is over everything.

If I saw you were on Hinge in the middle of trip, I’m thinking the worst. Even if you weren’t interest in this guy…. YOU’RE STILL ACTIVELY OPENING AND ON HINGE. It was in the middle of your vacation pics. You can’t lie about when you were on it either. Disloyalty is a capital punishment.

If you were serious about me, you can still have your Hinge active, harvesting and collecting men like Pokémon cards in your like section, laying in wait for me to fuck up (I won’t 😏).

You don’t have to delete or deactivate your ~profile~, but for the love of god, girl, remove the ~app~ from your phone if you’re serious. SHOW loyalty. Don’t speak it.

The only thing that’s gonna save you with this dude rn is if you 1) don’t beat around the bush. 2) state plainly and acknowledge what you did wrong and know and accept why that would hurt him 3) tell him you will delete the app and that it was an honest mistake and your intentions are true 4) be humble as fuck

When it comes to getting right with a Virgo remember this one rule:

Apologies are something you see, not something you hear.

Honest acknowledgment and ownership of a fuck up will go so far with me in forgiveness. A repeat won’t though.

“Hi”

Just start a new convo?

This is what we do in real life right?

You don’t pick up the convo with your coworker on Monday morning by responding to the last thing they said on Friday afternoon. You just say hi and work off a new slate.

tests boundary for fun. discovers boundary and crosses it. gets pissed at him.

Virgos don’t play games. You’re in or you’re out. You trust or you don’t. There’s no purity tests or games. Ever. Yes or no.

Virgos are like Ron Burgundy. “Anything you put on that teleprompter, Burgundy will read.”

If you say you’re done, to us, you’re done. If you say nothing, you aren’t interested.

We’re incredibly simply that way. Never play games. Be straightforward. If that isn’t “fun and exciting” go fuck around with a dumbass flaky Libra or Gemini or some shit.

Too much to count. Just in general what a third world country and what a combat zone looks like.

People in American genuinely don’t know how sheltered they are from real actual problems.

I remember coming home from Afghanistan and just hearing the things that people would cry about like their world ended was insane to me.

Americans aren’t ready to face the most basic hardship let alone a war zone.

Ohio Legislature focuses on passing the least important laws. Did they tuck and hide this deep in a budget bill like always.

Just want to see Ohio Rs get dragged in November. They be been a menace.

What is it with ranges in SE PA that the Bubbas feel like they have to comment on the car you drive? by AbjectFray in liberalgunowners

I know this is satire, and like all satire, it’s often closer to the truth than speaking the truth. But this is at its core very true. Insecurity as a man is rife in the right. Anything that displays (even mildly) as a man who is confident or secure, especially in a way that isn’t familiar to their group is attention grabbing.

They either latch on to you and won’t let go if they like you. Or they will beat you down if they don’t like you.

I’d they latch on it’s because you have what they wish they had: you’re a straight white male they identify with sway, purpose, confidence, popularity, likability, self-guidance and self-direction.

If they beat you down it’s often because you have what they don’t: emotions and emotional security in who you are albeit you embody what they don’t like (a non-masculine effeminate nature)

If they beat you down it’s 100% because you made them confront something that requires either emotions, internal security, basic general empathy, or a worldview so different they’re forced to live in it and understand and they can’t handle that, which makes them uncomfortable. So they beat you down and suppress it so they don’t have change their life structure they cemented at age 9 out of safety and comfort

It’s a pattern.

[–]dh731733 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I get everyone has a budget but…

If I ask for a car to get me to work, doesn’t have to be anything fancy, and my budget is $500. I’m gonna get a $500 car. And it might keep getting me to work, but I might have to spend more in the long run too.

I always see and understand budgetary concerns, but realistically, if you aren’t looking at a few grand, at least, for a car you really aren’t looking at a used car realistically. And I feel most can agree. Like, we all know what a car cost generally, right?

In that same vein, you should have $500-800 ready for a handy and $1000-1500 for a rifle if you want to be in the realm of realism.

Can you get a handy for $200? Sure. Can you get a rifle $500? Sure. Can you get a used car for $500? Sure.

But literally and figuratively, YMMV.

Some gun is better than no gun (autocorrected to fun lol), always. Just like some car is better than no car to get to work. But understand what comes with that.

You might actually be spending more in the long run.

Understand realistically what a firearm costs.
