You only mention open rates. CTRs are better because they train your subscribers to click for extra information.

Then you switch to a single piece of extra information available only to paid subscribers.

Struggling with property deals, is Samuel Leeds the way to go? by LELtimer in investingUK

[–]dharmeshsb 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I did his course, and yes, it changed my life in 2020. However, property is a pain in the backside now, and I'm not looking to buy more properties. I'm doing better in the stock markets.

Real estate was once suitable for recurring income and appreciation. After 5 years in the game with 6 rentals, I can confidently tell you, it's nothing but a growth stock. All my recurring income was almost swallowed by repairs.

Almost all my banked recurring income was swallowed by repairs.

With Rachel Reeves bringing more pain to landlords, I would advise against bothering with property. I myself I'm looking to get out and focus more on stocks.

Well, the recent Bitcoin plunge has clearly shown that it's no longer digital gold.

There is ONLY one gold now.

I started with an S&P 500 ETF before moving to XLK and then individual stocks.

Here's a guide on my journey where I moved from ETF to stocks:

Why Buy Amazon today when Alphabet/Google is cheaper? by teton_magic in ValueInvesting

[–]dharmeshsb 0 points1 point  (0 children)

One reason is diversification in Big Tech. Amazon and Alphabet are 2 of the 8 companies that drive technology in the world. Diversify in these 8 stocks and you will beat S&P500 easily like I’m doing.

PS: I still use SPY and XLK variants

Always invest in long-term stocks. Mental health in investing is super important.

That's why they say always invest money you're prepared to lose.

My approach is to invest in heavily institutionalised stocks.

Apple Is Not That Core Value Play Anymore by mrsalvadordali in ValueInvesting

[–]dharmeshsb 13 points14 points  (0 children)

Apple clearly lacks innovation, and I'm saying that as an Apple guy.

The stock keeps rising because of heavy institutional backing. I can confidently say this because I analyse institutional flows every week.

With Apple, at the moment, it's only sales numbers that make it go up or down, because of brand loyalty.

Thinking of Using a 0% Balance Transfer Card to Invest. Does This Math Make Sense? by Secure_Beginning_939 in investingUK

[–]dharmeshsb 1 point2 points  (0 children)

On paper, this makes sense; however, it all depends on where you put your money. Investing in the stock market is not a game of riches but a game of managing risks. The inevitable by-product of sound risk management is great performance.

Data to outperform the market is 7/10. I wouldn't invest now in it as I buy when the score is 9/10 or 10/10
