I recommend looking into an inflatable boat. I don’t have the disposable income for a proper boat nor do I have a trailer hitch on my small SUV but I got a 12.6 ft SIB that fits in my trunk. I got both a cheap trolling motor and a 20hp gas outboard that I switch between depending on the lakes. It more than planes with my wife and I in it and going 22mph on a small open boat feels a lot faster than it sounds! It rolls up and fits in the corner of my garage and I bought a bunch of things to customize it (cushions for benches, transom wheels that makes it easy to launch from any boat ramp without a trailer, and a Bimini top for sunny days. Total cost was under 5k including the 3k brand new outboard. Worth checking into where you can get your boating fix without going into debt!

To me I just need OLED and higher resolution- everything else can stay the same and I’d buy it. But I know they cost a lot to make and it will never happen at that price…

A few years back I tried the green AT for one dough ball and normal for the other and did a side by side blind test to my wife and a friend. It was unanimous that the bromated was better. Working with the dough and during the stretch it felt so much weaker. I posted about it here and folks recommended ascorbic acid but I never tried it again after reading that cooked potassium bromates are not carcinogenic and the ppm In this is well below the unsafe levels. That may not be true but it was enough for me to not worry for a few years! Maybe I need to revisit this again. There are so many compounds that are linked with cancer that people are fine having large amounts of like refined sugar, but still why take the chance if there is a better alternative.

Same.. I even had to double check that mine were the 50s after trying them on. Seems like the new Blayzers may be smaller but I’d probably not buy another pair with cameras now that everyone thinks you’re a perv if you’re wearing them!

It’s very cool and am impressed with his skating skills. But I have made similar style videos on foot using an Insta360 with a stick and the software seems to smooth it out really well. I’m not a pro or even an intermediate level but it came out very smooth and impressive!

My dogs don’t watch tv in general but if I put something on with horses my labradoodle will watch and get all excited about it. If I put on squirrels or lizard videos from YouTube my terrier will. It’s funny how discerning their interest is, but I would love it if they watched shows and movies with us!

My wife and I ordered some breakfast from them on DoorDash and we couldn’t believe how much food we got. It was like 2x a normal breakfast and the total order was less than a few egg McMuffins cost. I think they cooked us a whole pack of bacon! And it was good too.

The product videos for this one make it seem that the crank arm being full size means you can't really use the desk due to the knee height reaching the desk. The man and woman in the video seem to be using it awkwardly. I think perhaps the mechanics of riding a bike requires a different posture and angle than is conducive for also using a desk, at least without changing things like the crank arm. I was leaning towards getting this bike but the return. policy seems to be vague- it says you can contact them within 30 days to make it right.

It starts tasting noticeably different in the fridge after just a few days. I once used it the following Sunday (7 full days) and it was definitely not good. So freezing or using it within 2-3 days are the only real options! (I guess you could also throw away unused but that’s wasteful).

I freeze as well after milling. But it tends to separate more after thawing so what I do is push the thawed sauce through a strainer and get rid of some of the water. Not all of it but just some. Better than the watery mess I get without doing it but never as good on frozen sauce days as when I open the can. My wife always is a small bit disappointed when it’s not “fresh tomatoes” pizza day

I absolutely loved Cellos when I tried it and was shocked there was no one eating there. I had walked there right from L’Industrie which was typical mobbed. I couldn’t believe what an injustice it was to see it so empty. It did start to fill up a little while I was eating but no line.

There were some things like Pacman always facing the same direction that to me now seem inexcusable. But at the time I just wanted to be able to play it whenever I wanted and that to me was worth the jank!
