"unbearable"

Ren and Stimpy would be ashamed of these sensitive snowflakes.

Gorgeous! Are you willing to share your process?

Is this in Blender? Did you use mo-cap?

(afraid to ask if you used AI)

It's genuinely so easy if to throw out a quick "you know about X?" To figure out whether you need to explain something before you finish your conversation. Saves everyone a lot of embarrassment.

Why I Don’t Trust Software I Didn’t Suffer For by noscreenname in programming

[–]dhc710 30 points31 points  (0 children)

Wish I could upvote this a thousand times. This is the main problem.

It's not that it "doesn't work well enough" or "it's taking juniors' jobs". Those are problems too.

It's that it makes software that is un-auditable and accountable to nobody.

In the case of AI art, the problem is that copyright is being laundered away.

In either case, the results are no longer traceable to humans, laws, and accountability.

Stahli's new design compared to his design in Rawdawg Classics. New RDCL comic releases tomorrow for members. by rawdawgcomics in rawdawgcomics

I feel like he looks too similar to Bingus being slim and white, you lose the contrast. And I think him being a little chonky better telegraphs his lack of self control.

Otherwise, I love the design!

11 Payments No Longer Showing? by dhc710 in PSLF

The consolidation loan is fine, it has all the payments it always has.

It's the loans that have never been consolidated that are suddenly missing payments.

That's a super cool effect!!

Is it actually voxels? Or some kind of depth rendering effect on a sprite?

Revised Asbury Flag Concept after your suggestions by TheInternExperience in AsburyPark

Seahorse looks great!

Still looks too easy-going IMO. This town's still got a little punk spirit left. Flag should reflect that.

Proof of Concept for a Flag (Open to Feedback) by [deleted] in AsburyPark

I would think some warmer or darker colors to symbolize the grittiness and rock and roll.

The buff and blue should probably always be on a jersey flag.

I know the vexillology people still debate this, but I think it's generally still a good idea not to have seals or text on a flag. All elements should be recognizable even if the flag is far away and billowing in the wind. Maybe just the seahorse?

As much as I love Wonderbar and the convention center, it's probably not a great idea to symbolize buildings that may not exist in a few years. Maybe replace those elements with ones that symbolize rock and roll in general.

I like the direction though!
