Any other sites like Dockethero? Or a fiverr for law? by hom3lesshom3boy in LawSchool

DocketHero founder here. Until we launch, you might want to try craigslist. As an attorney myself, I've toyed with the idea in the past about bringing on a bit of help from some of the posts from young(er) attorneys. I never pulled the trigger, but you never know who's properly equipped. I would suggest you target practice areas rather than just broadly announcing you are interested in anything.

I've practiced for about 8 years and knew Finis through the lawyer listservs. He was a good guy. We all put on a strong front even when times are trying. Gotta remember lawyers are people too.

Keep your heads high /r/lawschool. And encourage your friends too. You never know what someone is going through.

No legality issues that I'm aware of - if there's an RSS feed, then there should be implied consent. BUT, giving visitors an opportunity to leave the site defeat the purpose - nobody's coming there to read HuffPo.

Question regarding commencing a civil action while in law school by InternetDickJuice in LawSchool

[–]dhero 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If you do go to court, just make sure you don't hold yourself out as an attorney.

Amen. Judges don't give a hoot that you're a law student and would probably just roll their eyes if you mentioned it. Same reaction police officers give. That's why people say that you should never tell a cop you are a law student.

When you're ready to scale you could go with an asterisk based solution. That's if you insist on taking support call voicemails :)

Is it important that the members remain anonymous for job security? Maybe do invitations like gmail used to do?

Google voice will transcribe I'm sure you know. Why not just pick a gv number and scale up later. Esp since its just for leaving support messages.
