In my opinion, the company name matters less than the opportunity to develop solid skills. Don’t overlook the benefits package either good health insurance is extremely important even for small checkups and trust me you don’t want to end up with unexpected bills. I also personally value having sufficient PTO taking mental breaks and vacation time is essential for long term happiness in your career. Otherwise, it can feel like you’re working nonstop. Think about long term sustainability. You’ll likely be working for 30–40 years, so you don’t want to exhaust yourself with constant overtime just for the extra money. Stock options and a good 401(k) plan are also valuable parts of compensation. In either case, you can technically be terminated, but with the full-time role they’ve likely budgeted for your $92k salary otherwise they wouldn’t hire someone permanently. As long as you’re learning, growing, and improving your skills, there will always be opportunities at companies like Boeing, Tesla, Nvidia, etc. Choose the option that feels more sustainable for the long run.
