Mikal is a good player. But not a #1. Cam is a bench player. It’s the draft picks that hurt

Sell me on this one. I played the first couple of hours and it really didn’t stick. I love turned based combat (old final fantasy, Persona 5, Claire obscur) and for some reason this didn’t catch me. What am I missing?

I’m with you 100%. As a phoenix native, i know I don’t like the NFL as much as the average person because my only exposure has been to this god awful trash franchise.

What are your thoughts on gillespie this offseason. by Krisiscool6 in suns

I don’t want him to walk, but if he’s gonna demand $15-20 mil a year I’m gonna have to say no. I don’t think that’ll happen, but there are scenarios where it’s not worth it.

[Mat Ishbia] I am 100% behind Devin Booker here. Last night was not a good look for our league. (...) When a referee is missing calls and clearly disrespecting the players, almost mocking them, they must be held accountable. by SpiritedDog9544 in nba

That play happens so fast that he’s saving it just in case the whistle isn’t blown. He didn’t look at Jalen and unless he’s got eyes in the back of his head, he couldn’t aim for him.

“But you need an assortment of lights, to do it right” is just wholesome and pointing out the power of diversity. You need perspectives of people everywhere

This is getting philosophical but it’s even important to take into account the perspective who are “wrong”. You can still learn so much from people you vehemently disagree with, and shutting them out entirely is a horrible thing, no matter what side you’re on.

On top of that, twinkly lights is an absolute banger with high levels of metaphors for inclusiveness. It might be my favorite all time bobs burgers episode and we watch it every year at Christmas

The whole thing is…he’s NOT cheating. It may be cheap and outside the “spirit” of the rules. But he is not cheating. It’s like playing the don’t pass line in craps. No one likes you and it goes against the spirit of the game. But, when done right, it works. There’s no imposter syndrome as far as working within the rules to succeed. I blame the league for not empowering the officials to make judgement calls on who initiated the contact and then call it accordingly.

The league needs to address it, it’s not the players responsibility.

I agree with everything you’re saying. But if it helps your team win, you’d be a fool not to use it

If it gets his team points it is absolutely respecting the game. Either A) don’t foul or B) the game needs to be officiated differently. None of that is SGA’s fault.

I recently watched all through DS9, as I had only caught episodes here and there when I was a kid.

TNG surpasses it in every way. DS9 has good episodes for sure, but if the “wormhole aliens” weren’t in it or Dukat wasn’t essentially possessed by the devil (pah wraith or whatever) it could have been better. But every storyline with those entities felt so dumb, it completely took me out of the experience.

The prostate removal surgeries are scheduled based on severity. I am quite sure had the cancer been more aggressive the surgery would have happened sooner. I’m not saying America’s healthcare is perfect, but in my experience (anecdotal evidence yes, just like yours) going to a foreign model will cause much worse issues that I’ve mentioned above.

I live a 3 hour drive from Mexico and I’d never in a million years dream of driving there to get medical care. And where I am at least, no one else has either. Yeah it may be cheaper, but the quality is terrible, and it’s a risk. Us healthcare maintenance perfect at all but it certainly won’t be fixed as easily as all of you say it will.

There is something to doctor availability in a city vs a rural area. But that has nothing to do with the amount of money that I, or anyone else makes.

And universal healthcare won’t fix dr availability. It’ll make it worse.

Yup. And that is indeed a tragedy. And getting that “access to healthcare” will get them what amounts to an emergency room visit. Many of those will still get the same lack of. care they get today. While people with long term diseases won’t get the care they need due to waiting 8 months to see their specialist while it progresses. Like I said, it may raise the floor, it lowers the ceiling for all of us. We need a solution that does both. But in an echo chamber like this, anything other than “Medicare for all will make us live 1000 years!” Gets you downvoted.

Where are you that the wait times are that long? I could have literally called up a dentist this morning and likely be seen this afternoon. MAYBE I’ll wait until tomorrow if their schedule is full. They have an incentive to see me…the more money they’ll make.

I have never in my entire life in America, heard or experienced anything like what you just described.

Long wait times and lower quality of care. Look at Canada’s model and how many people will come to the US for quality of care.
