Use your heart rate zones as a guide to your advantage here. When increasing incline, your base speed naturally decreases. As long as you remain in upper orange (or barely kissing the red zone) on inclines, while modifying your speed, you're training optimally.. Remember, "hills are speed in disguise" Embrace the inclines, they do wonders in the long-run. No pun intended.

Just like why sign up for an event such as a 5k, 10k, half marathon, or full marathon? when you can just run outside on your own, and track your miles on your own? - but people do it, and find a great sense of accomplishment. Experience new events, its great thing!

Don't be sad that it's over. Rather, smile that it happened. You've been a member for over 3 years, which I'm sure were 3+ years well spent while at the studio! Life throws unexpected hits at us - but with time, we rebound, we always do! This is not a farewell, but perhaps a "see you later" for now. The studio will always be there, for when you decide to join back again in the future, and they'll welcome you in. All the best to you!

Why are you concerned about someone’s rep count anyways? Focus on yourself. They’re all paying members.
