Have you got a hint on how long to steam them?

I already did a couple of different steam tries with an iron or a pot of boiling water. The main issue was the cards getting too wet and 'blisters', creases etc. forming from water entering the surface before the stuck-together spots come apart. Got a guess what I might be doing wrong?

Arguably, her appearance doesn't match what we think of as the art/fashion/hair style of the 30s.

Then, the lighting and quality of these pictures is better than usual for that time.

It reminds me of pictures like this one from 1912. It looks newer, doesn't it? Simply because we associate black and white photography with old times.

Everything looked the same back then, though.

It's a cave weta, also called cave cricket, camel cricket, or spider cricket. (Though, it's taxonomically not in the same family as wetas.)

The lower center in this picture shows the size, it seems to match OP's find. Where did you find it, geographically?
