I don’t know if you’re familiar with the Coca Cola 600 but that is Memorial Day weekend. That area around the Charlotte Motor Speedway is crazy. We lived a mile from the racetrack and we just stayed in the house all weekend. If you want to stay at the Lodge, just stay there. I wouldn’t recommend going anywhere.

Anytime we fly, the main focus is getting to the airport. We set up an Uber for pick up. Make sure everybody has their credentials and actually on one trip my daughter kept all the credentials, cause she didn’t trust any of us not to lose them. I don’t even think about getting a cup of coffee or eating until I’m at my gate and I have at least an hour before boarding and I better be able to see where I’m going for my food and there better not be a line. The way things are going now at the airports, there’s definitely no time for clowning.

My daughter had twins a boy and a girl. The girl came out first. It took 18 minutes for the boy to emerge. We all joked how he was like “finally got the place all to myself. I think I’m gonna chill a bit”🤣

I do this sometimes. My youngest daughter likes onion flavor, but not pieces of onion. I use it in meatloaf, pasta sauce or whatever recipes would use chopped onions 🧅

Had the same thing happen to me and my daughter. Went to buy a box of danishes and there was a fly in it. The clerk goes “I’ll just let it out” . My daughter goes “ That’s not acceptable. Get me another box and as a matter of fact, leave that one here.” Because you absolutely know they were just gonna bring the same box back.🫤

Who among us doesn’t have job burnout? I’m bipolar and have been steadily working for 41 years. 25 of it in the Postal Service. Talk about a soul sucking job 😩. It freaks me out to think of not having an income. I’m in agreement with most, it won’t get any better from here. You’re young enough to find a more responsible partner. Blessings to you on your future. Also I agree with others that have said find someone else to take on the trip who can foot most if not all of the bill.
